My new Hart wet/dry vacuum is the handiest tool. Being battery operated makes it so easy to just grab and go. So convenient for cleaning my car and really gets into all the little crooks and crannies. I love that it works on wet spills too and if you have pets like me it's great on pet hair. It's so easy to empty and lightweight for carrying. You have to remember the battery is sold separately but it is interchangeable with my other Hart tools. I would definitely recommend this item. Thank you
Very nice wet or dry. Remember, if using wet, remove the filters inside. Has a nice weight to it. I would say 6 lbs with the battery. Not flimsy. The seal is rubber lined to keep the dust in check. Has blower feature as well so all you need to do is put hose in the exhaust port. My Wish list for future engineering: Hepa filter option. Shoulder strap attachment. Led Light built in. Great company made in China for Wal-Mart exclusively.
I'm completely shocked by how much power this Hart wet/dry vac has, it's so lightweight and very easy to use. It only took a few minutes from box to using it, I love the style , it's a perfect size to pick up messes and you can store it anywhere. For something being so small it sure does pick up anything with no problems, absolutely no cords, so less hassle. I am so pleased with how it uses a battery instead, I seriously recommend the Hart portable vacuum.
My little Hart wet/dry vac is a handy little portable, cordless system that I keep in my automobile. I like to keep my vehicle clean inside and out, and this little guy does just that! It has a decent sized little hose, that has a little crevice attachment, so you can get down into those hard to reach nook and crannies. Also mine came with a battery and charger. I’ve fully charged it and vacuumed my car twice, and it still has plenty of battery life! It’s a little loud, but most vacuums are. Just pops open and you dump the container and put the filter back on and ready to go again. It’s capacity size is approximately a gallon, and I haven’t spilled anything wet yet, but since it is gallon capacity, it should be able to handle a spilled drink easily! The suction is pretty good for a cordless vacuum as well. Picked up all the little pieces of gravel and paper that was on the floorboards, as well as cleaned bigger pieces of food left behind by my 2 yr old grandson inside his car seat. This is a handy system to keep in your automobile for any small to medium messes that may occur. I’d recommend for anyone that wants to keep their car or boat tidy!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this item with vehicle vacuuming in mind and it did not disappoint! The shop vac is cordless, compact and lightweight so it is perfect for navigating around smaller and tighter spaces. It also has decent suction for such a small unit. For bigger jobs that require higher power/capactity, I would recommend going with a larger shop vac. I purchased the Hart 6 gallon electric shop vac for the larger jobs. Overall, this item serves its purpose and would highly recommend this to others.
The 20V 1 Gallon Wet/Dry Vacuum (Tool Only) is pretty great! I like to keep this in my work truck because it allows me to use this where ever I am when I’m on the go. I really like how light weight and portable this vacuum is because I don’t have to haul around something super bulky and heavy. I love that this is cordless as well. I love the HART brand because they are so versatile with all of their products. The 20 V battery that this vacuum uses lasts a long time. This vacuum is able to clean up wet or dry messes. Charge time for the battery is about 5 hours for it to be fully charged which isn’t that bad! This vacuum can hold 1 gallon worth of stuff that you have vacuumed up. The hose on this vacuum is 3 feet long which I like because I am able to reach hard to reach areas without having to try very hard which is awesome. I really like that the onboard accessory storage holds everything all together so you don’t have to be looking around for all of the pieces. Super easy to use and comes from a trustworthy brand!
I am rarely pleased with product performance but hart tools has proved once again to be a reliable product the vacuum had great suction compared to my corded vacuum without the inconvenience of having to pull the cord. to vacuum out of the car or to clean up behind myself when I’m doing projects around the property it’s very light weight I’m quite impressed with the size of the air filter in the small tank it’s larger than my corded vacuum which has a larger tank. The 20 volt batteries are impressive as well.
This came in handy at a very good time. I was installing a dishwasher and one of the attachments spilled disgusting smelly water all over my floor. I just happened to have had this in the next room because coincidentally I got it a few days before. I didn’t think I’d need it for the dishwasher install. The one problem I had was that I grabbed it to use right away, but if you’re using for liquid you have to open it up and remove the cotton bag around the filter. The cotton bag is for regular vacuuming but cannot be used for liquid. So in an emergency it took a few extra minutes. I will keep it prepared for liquid at all times from now on. If I do use it for dry vacuuming then I will put on the bag but I think it’s more important to be ready for liquid. It did a good job sucking up the water, however, it only has one attachment to help and the connector from the base isn’t really held on by anything so if you need to move more than 3 or 4’, it will pull right out of the base. It is very light and for being cordless it did suck up a good amount of water very fast.
This little vac is fantastic for picking up little things around the car or baseboards of the house. I haven't used it to pick up anything wet just yet. While the sucking power is decent, it's not super strong. It has trouble picking up things super fine as sand.
I have several great HART tools and had high hopes for this little vacuum. I have a similar but larger 18V vacuum from Ryobi that really does a terrific job of picking up dirt and debris. I use it for my coffee roasting hobby to clean up chaff and coffee beans. I like the HART version for the smaller size and the ability to use it as a blower. There's no better way to clean a coffee roaster than to blow it out. While the blowing part of this vacuum is really powerful, I found the suction side to be lacking. There just isn't as much suction as the comparable 18V offering from Ryobi. I like the crevice tool but this really needs a small brush as well.
