This drill bit set is the rst that I’ve seen with a quarter inch hex shank. I loved using the set on a recent project installing an electrical circuit and two ceiling fans. Changing out the bits was such a breeze. The hex shank made nding the drill bits much easier also. During my recent project I used the bits on wood, metal, and drywall without any trouble. They’re also appropriate for PVC materials. It comes with eight sizes ranging from one sixteenth to one quarter inch with each size being clearly labeled. The ten bits sit snugly inside a thin piece of plas&c that keeps them together. I would prefer if they came with a case instead to hold them all. They have a &tanium coa&ng that held up well on a fairly light job. The quarter inch shank also increases the length of the drill bits nearly 1.5 inches, which is super helpful in di)cult to reach spots. The split point &p with the greater angle of 135 degrees made the bits discernablyfaster drilling through metal. On the single plas&c surface that I drilled through the smaller drill bits s&ll tended to wander. In total I’m glad to have this set. The smaller bits are harder to lose, and changing out the bits is much faster overall.
One of the most frustrating things about most drill bits is how they “walk” around before they start drilling. Not these bits! No need to center punch the work surface, just put the bit where you want it and start drilling. First hole I drilled was in a piece of steel bar stock. The bit cut the metal cleanly and produced big chips for fast, easy progress. These are my new favorite go-to bits for metal.
I highly recommend this 10 piece hex shank titanium drill bit set, I found that they are very sharp and it gets the job done. I love how they have a longer shaft to fit inside of my cordless drill. I love this 10 piece set because it is something that I may have needed and can use for various different size holes.
This Hart HeX Shank Titanium Drill Bit Set is really nice. I love love love that they come with the shank attached to each one! This is a wonderful thing! So convenient and time saving too! And I love that the case is made to fit each one so you never lose or misplace any. They fit into their slot by size from larger to smaller. These particular titanium drill bits are good for metal, pvc, wood and more. I have included a picture of me drilling into metal. The bit made a very clean hole for me and went thru the metal with ease. So far I have used them for repairing a sliding screen door, putting up curtain rods, putting up blinds and hanging pictures with anchors. It seems like I am always doing something here around the house. These shanks and the bits are strong and sturdy and made to last. They are a great addition to your tool box. This ten piece set includes a very nice variety of sizes so that depending on the job you are doing you should be able to find the right one in this awesome and handy set. The case makes it convenient to keep in your tool bag or toolbox, or to keep in your drill bag; whatever the case may be. I am mostly a 'do-it-yourselfer' so sets like this Hart Hex Bit Set are important for me to have close by. It never fails whenever I am doing maintenance work around the house, I never know what tool I am going to need and it just gives me peace of mind that when I need to drill something I can reach for this great set with the shanks attached and finish my project without having to run to the store to get the right size bit, etc. I am really happy with these and I do recommend them highly!
I've been using my old drill bit set for over 15 years, so the time was right for a new set. The old set was brass and over time, the bits became dull and bent. This new set is titanium and what a great difference in the quality! The tips are nicely crafted making it easier to predrill a hole in wood, plaster, sheet rock, etc. I especially like that these are marked in inches, not millimeters. One caveat, this set doesn't come with a storage case.
These are very well made I have used a couple of them to drill pre set holes for wooden screws. Drills really easy with hardly any pressure on drill. Next and heavy material. Just need a case for them now. Would recommend anyone to purchase these. Good set of drill bits.
As you open the package you will notice that they look really nice. When you brgin to touch them you can tell that they are heavy duty and made to last. You will not be disappointed with this set and i will definitely tell my family and friends about this set.
This drill bit set has worked great for me. We're building a catio, enlarging an existing catio, I should say. We were past due for new bits. These fit perfectly in my drill, not sure I should state the brand. What I love is not only are they super duty, they don't walk and wobble when you're using them. That saves time and trouble and leads to a better looking result. That titanium does it's job. I'm very happy with these bits and expect them to perform well for a long time to come. You get the standard sizes and they fit standard drills and impact drivers. Highly recommend.
This is a great drill bit set. The bits are sharp and super strong. They drill cleanly and make it so simple to get the job done quickly. I like the measurements being clearly stamped onto the sides of each drill bit. There are a good variety of sizes in this set. All around it's a very well made durable drill bit set. Excellent product from a well-known and high quality brand. They feel like they are made to last forever. It's hard to beat the strength and longevity of titanium materials.
My husband has really enjoyed the Hart tools brand products so I knew he would have no issues with giving these a try. The included picture shows one hole per bit size (there are doubles of 1/16 and 1/8). The smaller sizes gave a real clean hole but not so neat for the larger. There was no issues with performance when used for a few small tasks around the house recently. Husband says it's done better than other affordable brands and he will stick to these for the small jobs.
