Very rarely do I give any products a 5star rating but the HART 10 Gallon 6.0 Peak HP Wet/Dry Vacuum definitely deserves it. I used it for both dry and wet materials and it was AWESOME! The suction power was amazing, it picked up everything that I vacuumed. I really like all the adapters that were included. I used the wet dry vac to clean the vents in my home and it did a great job! I was able to use the flexible hose to get way down into the vents,bi also used the extension tube to get as far as I could into the vent. FANTASTIC job! Also, we had some heavy rains recently and I was able to clear out water that was building up in my basement window sill. The suction power is great. I love the quick and easy clean up, unclip the top and empty, can't get any easier than that! I will highly recommend the HART 10 Gallon 6.0 Peak HP Wet/Dry Vacuum to friends and family.
A great wet/dry vacuum. Love the colors, design and the functionality of it.
OK, this machine is powerful! First off, assembly was very straightforward. There were lots of things to put together, but the instructions were easy to follow and I think I could have done it myself had my husband not offered to do it for me. He did not require the instructions. So it came t ogether in about 7 minutes and that includes the time spent getting a screwdriver. I hope its clear from my pictures, sorry if it isn't, but my first yes was time blow all the dirt away from the front door. I sweep it almost every day and never get it all so I was curious to see how this would do. It did an amazing job! I for every spec of dirt out there! This weekend MTV neighbor will be borrowing it to clean up a mess in their guest room. Overall, this wet/dry vac is definitely worth buying, works exceptionally well for the average home. I'm very happy with this product!
As a reviewer, I really wanted to see what this wet vac could do. I tried it with normal stuff like sucking up sawdust, popcorn spilled on the kitchen floor. I even soaked the garage floor to see how ell it would suck up the water. It did all of those jobs with ease and I would highly recommend it for those reasons. What I didn’t expect was for this shop vac was to be able to pickup a standard size basketball and hold it about 6-feet off of the ground for as long as I kept it there!!! At just 6 horsepower, I didn’t expect that it could hold a 1.6 pound basketball in the air! That was very impressive!!! Being able to hold 10 gallons water/dirt is plenty for the average DIY Joe like me. These new Hart brand tools are getting to be the way to go!
Good vaccum for the price, BUT BYU THE PROTECTION PLAN. When my first vaccum broke, they sent me a check for $80. When THIS ONE BREAKS, not if WHEN THIS ONE BREAKS, IM COVERED. Now I have 2 sets of accessories
This is very easy to use and has great power. I used this shop vac for a air conditioner that flooded my attic. Wow was I ever impressed with this bad boy!
The typical shop vac is intended for... a shop (ergo the name). Unfortunately, this usually means it's rather large, a bit unwieldy to use, and somewhat difficult to store if you're more of a home-based DIY person (as opposed to a "shop" owner). This vac is a bit more manageable. At 10 gallon capacity, and a bit of creative thinking as to where to store attachments - it's much more compatible with a crowded garage (like mine). Photo #1 shows the overall size, reasonable compact design and some of the creative thinking. Note the notches in the "feet" of the unit which hold the tube segments (or, for that matter any of the attachments) - CLEVER use of available space. Note also the "U"-shaped holders on the top that nicely hold the flex tube (rather than simply wrapping it around extensions and tucking it in for storage). Photo #2 shows it "in use" - decent length flex tube, enough extension parts for short, medium, and long reach. A nice addition was an extra pair of heads not always on other vacs - a crevice tool and a narrower head with two optional, interchangeable ends - a squeegee, and a stiff brush. These eliminate the need to "tip" the normal end to allow for suction of wet material so it doesn't adhere to the floor instead of vacuuming up the water (for example). The unit also has internal filters for wet, dry, and dust capture (via dust bag). Again, decent planning/creativity for the end user. My only "complaint" (and it definitely not a "show-stopper") is the fact that each part of the flex tube/extension/head snap together - instead of a simple friction joint. In doing so, you can only use the hose/attachments in one orientation - as opposed to simply twisting the extension or tube to the desired angle. Other than the above minor issue, I have no problem recommending this unit to any home user - it passes all the tests!
Good vacuum its great works well cleaned my car Easy to put together i think for dirty matts you may need to put in a little elbow grease for vacuum to get it good just a little but it does its job i wish the crevice tool opening was little more bigger/wider
Bit of a beast for a condo, but I'm renovating.. T he trade off was for was better power. Also the added width
The glue to the attachment part is cheap and broke off easily. The first one I bought was already disconnected so I returned it and got another one that was intact. Used it once and it broke off again. Bad quality glue or design technique to the attachment hose. Now I have to return it twice! Go buy a decent/brand name instead.
