These totes are very strong, sturdy and durable. I have several more and use them for our Christmas ornaments and others for my son's ball cards and other things from his younger days as a child. We also use these larger sized bins to store our seasonal clothing. I like that they are made from recycled plastic and the handles are well made. They close and stack easily. The lids are also strong and won't collapse. I definitely recommend all these totes/storage bins.
I really love the space this Hart 12-gallon tote has. I have a lot of supplies for sublimation and Cricut design project that mostly gets toast in a drawer. I love having able to now put them in this tote with no worries of them getting dusty or even damaged. In this tote I was able to fit about 10 circuit rolls of material laying down, a big tape dispenser, packs of cardboard and cardstock. I was also able to fit in paper cutters (2), design tools and other mats. The claps are very durable and do not pop off which is nice. if they do, they are easy to just pop back in place.
This is pretty sturdy and yes heavy duty. Problem with other totes are the handles because the heavier you put in stuff the handles falls off too. Not this one tho. I got a lot in both my 12 gallon and 5 gallon totes and I don’t got any problems with them. Built with great quality material for the price. I would highly recommend this. It is stackable too. So I’m probably gonna buy more of these. And I want to add something about the lid as well. It is perfectly made and designed to put the bin it doesn’t even pop as I close it.
These totes are very nice. The are plastic with lids that fit secure. Great for storage of any item, and the lids have locking handles. Easy to tote around and stack them. They have pre cut security holes ,so you can padlock them. The 5 gal tote measures 17.7 w x 12.5 in. D x 9.8 in. H. The 12 gal tote measures 15.3 in. X 22.7D x 13.3 inches H. Will definitely purchase again.
Got this tote to store/haul my son’s gaming equipment. The build quality is excellent, with the tightest locking lid of any tote I have used. The white grips on each side actually lever down the lid and snap tightly in place. The lid has 4 separate punch through hole that line up with the base. This allows the container to be padlocked shut and or strapped/locked down for extra security. The deeply recessed lid matches the bottom contour for secure and easy stacking of multiple units. I love the fact that it is Made in the USA by HART (an excellent tool brand as well)! If you are in the market for an easily lockable, stackable and tight sealing tote this 12 gallon offering form HART should be on top of your list.
I’m so impressed by the whole structure but most with the handles never have I had one feel so solid with no bending just a satisfying click in place. Perfect for my art supplies I don’t want little ones getting into as the handles stay so well it need a little pull so only is grown ups have to aid keeping there curious selves out. Fits well under my bench table out of site and mind from others hoping to get more to fill for some tool enthusiast I know to give him more shelf space.
This is the perfect size for smaller storage. The container and lid feel well made and seem like they would withstand tons of dragging and stacking. I love that it has lid locks on each side, ensures that anything you store inside will be protected. I really enjoy this and highly recommend! You can never have enough storage!
This line of totes comes in multiple sizes. The 12 gallon size is perfect for storing things like quilts/blankets/bedding in the off-season, as well as many other things. The lid latches tightly to prevent dust & insects from getting in and if you happen to spill liquid on the lid, it's deep enough to hold quite a bit before it starts leaking over the side & into the vent holes. The lid is also deep enough for storing extra cats at naptime lol The totes are well-designed for stacking and the lids appear to be sturdy enough to hold up under the extra weight so I plan to buy more of this size to replace some of the less sturdy or old older totes that I have been using.
They look nice, but the white clips for the lids are too flimsy, i haven't even used them very good and they have already fallen off twice
The Hart container has no handle. It's not the manufacturer. It's Walmart. I have several of these containers. Every time I purchase them from the drive thru the white handles are missing. I'm starting to think they do this on purpose. It is a major inconvenience to replace or swap this every time.
