This is a powerful air impact wrench. I DIY a lot of my truck repairs. I have a 1997 Ford ranger that needed the fuel filler neck changed. The easiest way to get to it was by removing the bed of the truck. This tool made it so much easier to remove the bolts from the bed. It's compact, powerful size also made it very easy to swap out my tires. I like being able to choose what level of power to use with the torque control switch. It also minimizes vibration very well. Overall, I am very pleased with this product and I highly recommend it!

I was duly impressed with the performance of this 1/2” composite body air impact wrench. It advertises less vibration and it lived up to its billing most definitely. I tried it on lug nuts for various vehicles and it worked for all of them. It will be by goto tool from now on when taking off any lug nuts.
I was nervous about getting this air wrench because I have NEVER owned one and NEVER used one before (lol). I'm used to watching and listening to the auto mechanics using those loud air wrenches while changing my car tires. My car is old and paid off but taking it to the mechanic all the time is costly, so I've been doing more research online with instructional videos, ordering parts, and DIY (do-it-yourself)! This tool is a game changer! Makes changing the tires on my car a lot easier to unscrew the lug nuts. Plus, I have a neighbor who has a swing set that needs to be taken apart and this tool will come in handy to unscrew those large hex lag screws (or whatever they're called - again I'm an amateur at this haha). I had to purchase the needed equipment for this (air compressor, tubing, impact sockets, etc.) and it cost a pretty penny but well worth it! I've always loved HART products, so I was pretty confident with this one before actually using it. It's pretty powerful and I'm assuming the air compressor plays a big part as well - I've seen the Body Impact Wrench that is battery operated but I think this one is way more powerful.
I bought this in hopes of getting a bolt off of a mowing deck for the blade. I had actually had a cheater bar, and other tools trying to break the bolt loose, but nothing worked. Bought this and had my pancake air compressor, zipped it right off like it was nothing. Did not even grunt when taking the other two off. Don't know how long this will last, but overall I am impressed.
The HART 1/2 in. Composite Body Air Impact Wrench is a great asset to any garage. The power this tool has will definitely get the job done. I have to say it's very heavy to hold in your hands so making sure you get a good grip is a must. This impact wrench overall is a really great tool hands down well made and very sturdy.
This was one of my first Hart brand tool products, and won’t be the last. I have some expensive tools and I’m impressed with the quality of this tool. It’s 1/2 inch pneumatic impact wrench. I haven’t found a bolt or nut this tool hasn’t been able to break loose. It has some torque while being lightweight. It’s easy to operate, compact, and a tool I use frequently. I’m seeing what other tools they have in their lineup. I definitely recommend.
My husband was happy to use this air wrench. I was excited to give it to him. We needed something to take with us for emergencies in case we needed to remove the lug nuts off our compact SUV. This is a much easier and quicker option for him then manually removing the lug nuts. We can use it for not just our car but my mom, his mother, and friends who are in need of help. You need a compressor, and we have one. It is a great tool, although it says lightweight but I don't think it is very lightweight, of course I am not used to handling power tools. It's a great wrench to have for working on cars, if you know how to. My husband says it is a good tool. It seems to be made strongly and hopefully will hold up over the years, but we will see. The power is what it claims, and works well. I'm happy to see this makes his life easier. Hart is a fairly good brand of power tools.
First, I wanted to mention that I am not someone that uses an air impact wrench and this is just more of someone that's picking it up without much experience. My first impression is that it's fairly heavy I put it on a scale and it said about 4.6 lb. Definite feels like it is about 5 lb so I think it's fairly accurate. The Direction knob, turns fairly smoothly even though I think the arrow may be on the smaller side. I do want to mention that the Max air pressure is 90 psi - so that's something to keep in mind. I think the grip itself is a bit lacking and after use from oil and other vehicle fluids, it may be a bit more difficult to grip as firmly. The build material is fairly durable though and feels like it will last for a while since it feels fairly tough. Another concern is that the trigger feels a bit on the weaker side and may be a fail point for this wrench due to it being made of plastic. I do think it can last a while if it's used like a regular tool and not in a shop. Overall, I think this wrench is best to be used by people that use it from time to time such as diy people and home use.
Honestly I think it's a perfect entry level or at-home impact. The break-away torque really doesn't compete with the Milwaukee electric 1/2” or the snap-on 1/2”. Great for the average person for the price or a tech just starting out, but the seasoned professionals I don't see keeping this in their toolbox.
