So this pull saw seems to have many uses. Very sharp teeth and a nice composite handle. One side of the saw has larger teeth and the other side has smaller closer teeth. The bigger side cuts quicker with deeper strokes and the smaller side does require a little bit more time however it is much finer cuts, not raw. This saw can be used for indoor work. Comes in handy with remodeling and putting in doorway frames. However I found it also comes in quite handy for some of my small outdoor work too. I was doing some trimming of my trees and decided to give this saw a go. It really held up to the job! Nice deep quick cuts through the branches with the wide tooth side. It's unique in that it is a pulling saw rather than a pushing saw. It actually seems to be less stressful, physically to use the pulling motion. I did receive this item in exchange for an honest review!
This hart tool has the perfect Cuts. It includes a 13 inch pull saw attachment. The blade is double sided and flexible. The double sided design allows for perfect, faster and cleaner cuts. I would highly recommend this product
The blade has a slight wobble in the handle but doesn't seem to effect cutting efficiency. I like the extra length of the blade. Cuts angles well and flush cutting is smooth. Durable blade that I think will last for many uses.
This pull saw is excellent for small branches and other small quick jobs. It is easy to hold and has a good grip. The blade is very very sharp so branches cut with ease. It's durable, and has a hole at the top for hanging it safely out of reach on the wall (best hung against the wall).
This Hart 12 Pull Saw is a great general use handsaw, it's a little different from a traditional western handsaw in that the blade cuts better with the pull instead of the push. I like to use this to do undercuts when installing hardwood flooring. I like to start cuts with the fine side then finish with the coarse side for faster cuts. The handle is nice and comfortable on this one too. Great all around general use saw!
The saw is very flexible and very sharp; it really does cut the wood. You have to keep it straight when you cut, If you don't you will cut in a zigzag. Cut very slowly and very steady. I will use it to cut the branches of the trees in my yard. I left a 4-star review because while I was using this saw I learned that I don't like pull saws in general. But if you are used to this kind of saw, this one is of great quality.
This 12 in Hart pull saw might come in handy if it holds up. It has a lifetime warranty, dual sided blade design, makes flush and perpendicular cuts, and has a non slip grip. Unfortunately, it's made in China and comes with no instructions. It comes in 2 pieces and is fairly simple to figure out how to use. The blade edges are sharp by the body seems thin and slightly wobbly. There are 2 thin plastic guards that cover the blades when not in use. They seem like they'd get lost easily.
It does cut & is very sharp, we used it to cut palm branches. The big downfall is when you tighten the blade, & start cutting it inevitably starts coming loose, unfortunately It has been my experience that this will increase overtime and therefore your frustration level will also.
The Hart 10” pull saw is better than I expected. It's extremely sharp, works great for theirs spots I don't want to drag out my other saws and good for outside small jobs when I don't want to grab the chainsaw. The only issues I have with it is that the teeth shield is hard to put on, the teeth are sharp so it would help for the sleeve to be able to just slip on but it doesn't. As I stated, it's quite handy but it's also a bit flimsy. Overall it's a nice little handy tool but needs more thought out into the product if they wanted to make it exceptional.
I was excited to try the HART 10" Pull Saw until I saw that the blade and handle were not permanently connected. The handle is plastic with a little screw-on piece that is supposed to lock the blade on. IT DOES NOT! I put the blade and handle together and screwed the lock into place. Then I noticed the blade was loose, and easily shifted to the side, and then came completely out of the handle. I had someone else put the blade into the handle and tightly lock it into place and the same thing happened. THE BLADE DOES NOT SECURE INTO THE HANDLE! This is incredibly dangerous. I would NOT recommend this saw. Do not buy it! If you already did, just throw it out! DO NOT BUY!
