We received the Hart Titanium Drill Bit Set a couple of days ago. My husband was very impressed; he has never had such a superior drill bit set. And never a titanium one. These drill bits can be used for drilling wood, metal and PVC pipe. These drill bits do not walk, so you can start drilling immediately. They have a 135 degree split point. There are 14 different drill bits in this set, so they are very versatile in that you can use them to drill 14 different size drill holes. The color of the drill bits is very different and attractive. We anticipate many years of usage with these premium drill bits.
This is one great drill bit set by Hart. The protective case is awesome and it folds together and apart so conveniently. When you are not sure which one of the 14 pieces you will be needing to do your project. The storage case opens up and out so you can easily take one out and put it back and keep everything neat and organized. We always lost bits in the past because of poor storage solutions or lack of. But not any more, this is a wonderful little value set that anyone should be happy to own.
These are stronger than I expected. I havent broken any so far.
You cannot go wrong with Hart. I just got, FINALLY, a cordless drill. I have no idea why I didn't get one years ago. To go with my new drill, I ordered these as part of a review program. I love them. I also got a set of spade bits, but please see my other review for them. These are classic drill bits made of titanium, and they come in an easy-to-read, easy-to-lock and unlock see-thru storage box. These drill cleanly, and titanium is not only light, but keeps its edges nicely. Unless you do some strange specialty work, these 14 different sizes are all you are going to need, even to make furniture. I give them great praise! Keep these handy, because all the popular sizes are here. It's funny that one of the things I love best is the CASE. The case is perfect! It holds the bits and you just lift up whichever side you need, pluck off the bit, use it, and replace it easily. It's all labeled, too. RECOMMENDED!
Easy to use. They gripped the thick plastic that I had drill a hole in and went through like butter. I was at a very weird angel so didn't have much strength to help it drill through. It just did it by itself!

I received this Hart 14-piece Titanium Drill Bit Set with Protective Storage Case from the Spark Reviewer Program. I had a drill bit set from a popular brand company but i tend to break the bits and could use a new set. The first thing I noticed was the nice case that is quick to get to. The case has numbering engraved on the case which makes it so easy to read what bit is what size. Some other features of the case is when I need a certain size drill bit the case opens quickly and easily. The sides open and fold and the bit slides out easily into your hand. I can then use and putting it back is just as easy. Insert into the partition and then close. Really easy. Just 1-2-3. I found that to be the most impressive as my other set is a real pain to find out the size and to get it all to fit properly back into the case. As for the titanium drill bits by Hart they seemed as good as the name brand that I had. I tested a couple of bits on a piece of lumber and I really couldn't see any difference between the normal bits I use and the Hart Drill Bits. Hart claims they drill 2xs faster which could be true for some inexpensive brands. I have a top of the line brand and I honestly couldn't tell one from the other in terms of drilling speed. Overall, a very nice package. The case is as good as I have found and the bits work as well as any I have used. I would recommend in the short time that I have used them.
Finally, I used the Hart 5/32 drill bit to install this shelf in my room. The bit went thru the dry wall very easily. The bit created light work. I had no problems. I will have to go buy 2 more shelves for the bathroom & I'll be able to use this Hart titanium drill bit set. I liked how easy & fast that I was able to use this titanium bit. The package advertises that this Hart drill bit sets can be used on wood, metal & PVC. The bits include 1/16, 5/64, 3/32, 7/64, 1/8, 9/64, 5/32 ,11/64 ,3/16, 13/64, 7/32, 15,64, 1/4. It is a 14 piece drill bit set.This set can be used for multiple jobs. Additionally, these bits work faster for drilling.
I liked every bit of this set. I recommend.
I received this Hart drill bit set through the Spark Reviewer program in exchange for my unbiased review. I first noticed that this set had a California Proposition 65 warning "Cancer and Reproductive Harm." Disappointing, to say the least. I have never seen a warning of this type on any drill bits I have purchased in my life. That said, the set was packaged well. Upon opening the case, I realized the bits were oiled. Why? Does titanium rust? After grabbing a shop towel, I selected the 1/4 inch bit and found it was wedged in really tight. I couldn't get it out without grabbing tightly and pulling hard. Thankfully, before I attempted this, I had already discovered that the bits are sharp. Really sharp. The bit I used penetrated the wood easily and overall I thought it worked well and made a fast, clean hole in the 2X4. Based on my experience, I do recommend this set with two caveats: 1) The potential toxicity issue, which is an unknown short of doing metallurgical testing, and 2) The sharpness of the bits. Warning: Wear gloves!
