This saw has enough power for any job ive thrown at it. i also love that the saw stops as soon as i let off the trigger. you need this saw!!!
I love battery operated tools. The convenience of not having to lug a cord around is great. This saw will come in handy for many projects. It seems to be a well made tool. It has a blade protector for storage and transport. As with any battery operated tool having an extra charged battery on hand is usually a good idea.
This is a great saw at a great price point for DIYers and professionals alike. The saw works amazingly well for a tool from this type of store. It has the power to cut all types of wood some require more time and patience than others. So be slow and methodical with the stronger woods and you will have great success with this saw. It is lightweight and compact and not to mention that it looks great.
The HART 20-Volt Brushless 7-1/4 Inch Circular Saw is a great saw that does everything my old circular saw did and cuts with the same amount of power, but having a cordless circular saw is a game changer. Not only can you take it anywhere, just not having to mess with a cord getting in the way is so convenient. The HART batteries are proprietary and a little more expensive than some other Lithium Ion battery packs but they hold a lot of charge and can work for a while. I've never had mine run out so I'm not exactly sure on the run time hours but it's plenty for most standard jobs around the house. If you're using this commercially or for a big project just get a 2nd battery as a back up. This saw includes a vacuum attachment but you need to buy your own bags. The blade guard is a clear plastic that is the only part on this saw I question just because it doesn't seem that durable, but it's held up fine so far. The saw also includes one standard blade, and a handy allen wrench that gets tucked in to the saw handle so you'll never lose it and always have it on hand when needed. The saw can bevel to 45 degrees and has a 5" plate. I recommend this circular saw to anyone!
My husband likes that it is lightweight and that it has a light. He likes the design and the power it has for a cordless saw. The price is great and includes the saw blade. I'm especially impressed with the blade guard & trigger guard. It is easy to adjust for height and angle. Easily assembles.
The Hart 20-Volt Brushless 7-1/4 Inch Circular Saw was very smooth and made short work of the 1 x 4's I was cutting. The saw came with a very sharp blade and cut well. One thing I noticed was that the cuts were very clean with little to no blow out. The saw was easy to control and i feel that it was balanced just right for me. I was not thrilled about an allen nut being used to secure the blade to the arbor because over time they are prone to stripping. I would prefer a nut and wrench for that application. I also didn't like the way the allen wrench was attached to the saw by inserting into the slot. just my two cents worth on that. All in all it is a very well made and designed tool and I give it a thumbs up. Thank you...
Reviewing the HART 20-Volt Brushless 7-1/4 Inch Circular Saw. First off this isn't your typical cordless circular saw, this is larger and has the same size saw blade as corded circular saws. This allows for cutting a 2”x4” at a 45 degree angle and makes cutting a 4”x4” much easier. In the past the size difference between the two was significant. This model actually weighs less than a few of my 6 1/2” cordless circular saws. Now for the tool. Excellent build quality. Manufactured by the same company that manufactures Milwaukee and I say it is very similar in quality but costs significantly less. If you are worried about the Hart “ecosystem” of 20V tools, it's is huge, search on Walmart and you'll see some of the most innovative cordless tools there are. As a long time tool lover, I've been using tools for decades, and have owned tools from literally every major brand, NiCad and Lithium Ion. Extremely impressed with these Hart cordless tools in both power and design. Time will tell about durability, but all indications point to high durability.
This 7 1/4in. Brushless 20v Cordless Circular Saw is heavy duty and very heavy. So if you're looking for something just to slice through wood without a problem, look no further. If your needing something light weight you may want to pass on it. This Saw came with no battery or charger, but I already had 4amp 20v batteries and charger from the Hart Cordless lawn Mower, so not a problem. In the box they had packed a nice multipurpose 24 tooth Carbine tipped saw blade. Was easy to mount on the saws blade shaft, they provide a hex key, but for extra tightening I used a Socket wrench. Has a nice clear see through blade safety catch. Has the Saw dust exhaust tube, no long tube or bag though provided. you can set the degree of angle to cut from 0 to 56 degrees. You can also set the depth of the cut you want. It has your typical safety switch for your power trigger. The Brushless motor has a brake system, that as soon as you release the power trigger the blade stops. Has a button to push to lock the motor from spinning so you can attach or remove the blade from its spindle shaft. Cutting through wood up to 3 inches is a breeze. No matter the cut, this Saw would not bog down, very impressed.
We own a corded circular saw, but it cannot reach all over our property to do needed tasks. It was obvious that we also needed a cordless circular saw. The HART 20-Volt Brushless 7-1/4 Inch Circular Saw (battery NOT included), is a good choice is you already own a 20V battery. The 7-1/4" Circular saw is designed for cutting at up to 2-3/8" cut depth. This saw features an easy to read depth gauge for precise and accurate blade adjustments. It also includes a vacuum dust attachment that fits 1-1/4" and 1-7/8" vacuum hoses (bags not included). This saw also includes one blade, which cut wood cleanly and evenly, and an allen wrench which stores neatly in the saw handle. The HART 20-Volt Brushless 7-1/4 Inch Circular Saw is lightweight and powerful enough to take care of the basic tasks needed for our purpose. It feels well balanced and is easy to work with, and the bright LED light is great and adds superb visibility while cutting. It is a good value, and gets the job done. While it is not a construction grade tool that I would use for major building projects, it does the same job as our corded circular saw, but with the added convenience of being cordless.
This Hart 20V brushless circular saw is good for anyone. I personally think it looks nice too. It is a bit heavy for me (small woman) but it probably isn't that heavy for a man who uses these daily. The battery adds a little extra weight too. This saw doesn't use the same volt battery as all my other tools so I did have to buy the 20 volt battery and charger. I wish it had come with a battery even if it didn't include the charger. Aside from the battery issue, this is a great brushless saw. The handles have grips on them which make them comfortable as well as non slip. The saw came with a blade and a hex wrench to change/add blades. The hex wrench sits hidden on the back of the saw where the battery attaches. The blade guard is nice and works well. The saw and the blade included all worked very nicely. The saw also comes with a vacuum attachment to help with sawdust. I give this a 4/5 only due to the fact that I had to buy a different battery for this specific saw. I recommend this to anyone, including beginners like me.
