So I have gotten a few Hart tools now, and I am really impressed. This hammer drill does not disappoint. It's very powerful and versatile. It can be used as a drill, a hammer drill, or a screw gun and even comes with an included Phillips number two bit. The drill has two settings low and high and comes with an auxiliary removable handle which is a nice thing when you're drilling in concrete or thick steel. and lastly it comes with a really nice padded case and a charger. You won't be disappointed with this hammer drill that's sure to last for many years.
The hart hammer drill kit works great. I used it to break up a concrete slab in the backyard, it got the job done. It was easy to handle and I was surprised I had no problems using it, being a woman who's never used a hammer drill before, So if you want to use a hammer drill for the first time and to be able to use it with no problems use the Harts hammer drill.
this thing has fallen, been accidentally kicked and dropped and the cosmetics of the housing definitely shows wear but the mechanism is completely intact, working 100% w NO noticeable difference in functionality and working condition!!!
I received the HART 20V Hammer Drill Kit. My husband and I were able to easily put on the aux handle and belt clip. The drill fits well in my hands and is not too heavy to handle. I really like the directed light that clicks on as soon as the trigger is pressed. The placement of the flathead and Phillips-head screwdriver bit is quite ingenious with the magnet to help keep it in place. It is convenient to have that bit so easily accessible. The settings for greater speed are nice to have although I have not needed the greater speed at this point with any of my projects. The rechargeable battery has a long life lasting me a couple of hours with each charge. I did purchase a drill bit set and a seven-piece drill attachment cleaning kit. I recently used the drill with the scrubber attachment to clean the grout between my tiles. The drill worked perfectly. Being able to adjust the speed of the drill with the trigger was extremely helpful. The suds were not flying all over the place, and I was able to slow down as I got close the walls or cabinets. I was pleased with the drill reducing my workload. I would recommend this drill to my family and friends.
This is a good drill. It is not as heavy as most drills. It also comes with a bag that you can put everything inside of. It comes with the battery, drill, wall charger, bag and a few more accessories.
I like this drill very much. It is well balanced and feels good in your hand. The removable side handle gives you much better control while using the hammer function while drilling in concrete. It has a brushless motor with 2 Speeds to select from depending on what job you are doing. The brushless motor seems quieter to me and it is supposed to make the battery charge last longer. The chuck grips the bits tightly and is smooth operating when locking and unlocking. I especially like the LED worklight. It is very bright and aimed perfectly. Lights up your work area extremely well. Overall a quality tool.
This cordless Hammer Drill is by no means cheaply made, rather it is made of quality parts. The Drill has a bit of heft but is comfortable to hold while in use. This hammer drill makes easy work of drilling into concrete, brick, and masonry with the torque settings spot on. The battery charger that comes with it is very fast and can be used by one hand if need be. It is a pleasure using this drill and I highly recommend it.
This Hart 1/2" Hammer drill made it very easy to install a mailbox on my brick wall. First of all, the battery charged fast and had plenty of power to drill the pilot holes for the fasteners. This was the first of many projects I have lined up for the spring. It will be ideal for that hose hanger and plant brackets that are now sitting in my shed. Plus I am not the strongest person and while gripping the drill and the attached side handle I had the stability to perform the task flawlessly. This kit came with a 2.0AH battery, a fast charger, a handle, a belt clip, a bit and a bag. I would highly recommend this drill as it performed well with power to spare.
This Hart hammer drill is a direct competitor to the equivalent Dewalt model for about half the cost. However, Hart tool batteries are NOT interchangeable with Dewalt rechargeable batteries. This kit includes a soft bag, one 1.5 Ah rechargeable battery, an AC plug-in battery charger, an auxiliary handle, a reversible screwdriver bit, and a pocket clip/hanger. The construction of this hammer drill seems to be very robust and durable. It should be since it's manufactured by Techtronic Industries (TTI), the company that owns and/or manufactures power tool brands such as Milwaukee, Homelite, Ryobi, Hart, Hoover, Oreck, and Dirt Devil. The performance of this hammer drill is above average given its price point. This drill would not survive continued, heavy-duty use on a construction project like a Dewalt tool would, but I don't think that it's designed to perform at the level of a Dewalt XR tool. The rechargeable battery charges quickly, slides onto the drill easily, and clicks securely into place. The auxiliary handle attaches to either side of the frame of the hammer drill and tightens down securely. During drilling into masonry, the handle does not loosen up. The torque settings cleanly click, the two-speed button on the top clicks easily, and the trigger pull is precise. There is a reversible flat/Phillips screwdriver bit fitted into the base of the handle...a nice touch, but unnecessary since most users are going to have their own set of driver bits. I'm very pleased with the fit and finish of this hammer drill. It's constructed well, is perfect for homeowner tasks, and will undoubtedly last a very long time. Replacement/additional rechargeable batteries from Walmart are just about as expensive as the Dewalt batteries are so having a bag full of Hart batteries isn't going to be any cheaper than the Dewalt ones. And unlike the Dewalt batteries, there are not any less-expensive, Hart-compatible, generic batteries available online. Overall, for the price, this hammer drill is a good value. However, if you purchase it, you should also pick up another battery or two!
Pleasantly surprised! I was a little apprehensive when I unboxed the The Hart 1/2" Hammer Drill thinking this small drill won't provide enough muscle for the work that I do, but I was impressed with it's power. The rubber coated grip is very comfortable. When drilling in an awkward position, the The Hart 1/2" Hammer Drill is very balanced and not so heavy that it causes muscle fatigue like other drills. Whether your drilling through wood, metal or concrete, the drill plows through the material with ease (it also helps to use a sharp drill bit). Although the The Hart 1/2" Hammer Drill is plenty powerful it is fairly noisy compared to other drills that I have used. I like the fact that the motor is brushless and expect that it will last a very long time. The included phillips/slotted driver bit is nicely stowed into the grip for easy access. The battery usage between charge times is acceptable. I would also have liked The Hart 1/2" Hammer Drill to provide an extra battery pack since nobody is willing to wait for the one battery to charge and have to wait for it to charge to finish the job. I will probably order another spare battery pack since I do like the way this drill performs.
