ok, this is a very nice quality tool. and we know good tools. this one impressed. the fit and finish is really great. there is a space in the handle to stow the wrench so you dont lose it. its a comfy grip and a lot of power for something that runs off a battery. the line all fit the same battery too. its nice to bring the tool to your work rather than your work to the tool.
This brushless angle grinder designed for comfortable and convenient use. The position of the wheel guard can be changed just by pressing the button to unlock/lock it. No tools required for that. It has auxiliary handle that can be installed in 3 positions which one is more comfortable for the user in particular situation. Change the cutting wheel is easy by pressing the locking button and using the special key which is conveniently stored in the auxiliary handle. It comes with one safeguard installed on the grinder, cutting and grinding wheels and a spare safe guard. I tested it by cutting 2 mm still plate and it cuts the plate as a butter! Brushless design added so much power compare to old fascinated brushed design that it feels like unstoppable cutter. In order to work prolonged time I would suggest to buy 4 AH battery.
This is a very powerful, battery operated grinder. It is 4 1/2 inch angle grinder and uses a 20V battery, which is not included. The 20V battery gives this grinder plenty of runtime and power. I was very impressed with how many uses I got out of one charge. The unit as a whole has a good weight to it. It is not too heavy and not too light. You can feel the quality of the tool just by holding it. I am very impressed with how good it feels in the hands. It is very comfortable to hold and use. In the pictures, I took out the grinding wheel so you can see the quality of the internal parts. Overall, I am very impressed with this tool and I highly recommend it.
We got this cut off/grinder tool and put it to use right away!! Just attached on our Hart 20 volt battery, and my husband went right to work on some old bolts that were sticking out of our back porch that the old owners had left behind. We were always tripping over them, and this handy cordless tool was powerful enough to slice right through 6, 5/8 inch thick bolts with no bogging down. This came complete with the unit, plus a fine and thick grinder blade. I recommend this highly for someone who likes to work without a cord, as it was just as powerful as the plug-in kinds.
Love the ability to use this die grinder without having to worry about the electrical cord. It has plenty of battery life to power though my day at the shop of moderate use. Put the battery in the charger at the end of the day and it's ready to work again the next day. The balance of the tool is good, heavy enough to help maintain control but not so much to make you tired. I love the ability to store the tool to replace blades in the supported handle too, no more looking for wrenches. The supported handle mounts in three positions, left, right or top for good versatility. Great job Hart!
Because I already own several HART tools, batteries and chargers, I knew this HART angle grinder would be a great tool to have in my tool box. The angle grinder has performed to perfection every task I could come up with to try it on. First, I used the angle grinder to sharpen garden tools, shovels, garden hoes, lopping tools, and a flat hoe. The hart angle grinder was easy to use, and all my tools are sharp and ready for any task. Next I used the cutting attachment to remove several screws that were left imbedded and above the surface of a concrete porch where old metal railings once stood. The HART angle grinder cutoff tool made quick work of this task that had been pestering me for months. I am glad to have this tool and I have plans for it's use to convert old hunting stands into a garden arbor.
I like the rotating guard, the three position handle & easy access to the wrench on the handle. Its super compact and very powerful. Heavy duty construction & its brushless, excellent quality, value pricing & great 3 year warranty. You must purchase the battery & charger.
The Hart Brushless Cordless Angle Grinder arrived without an additional shipping box. Once opened every item was packed solid with custom pieces of cardboard holders keeping everything in place and very small amounts of movement. It comes with an owners manual that is easy to read the straight forward instructions and with full descriptions of all the features. It's made of quality hard plastic and a rubberized material body with soft construction. It's very comfortable to hold in all angles but it is almost 4 pounds without the battery pack. It seems to be a heavy duty, durable and versatile tool for the professional industry of welders, plumbers, mechanics and construction workers. The battery and chargers are sold separately, I happen to have one for my other Hart tools I own. It comes with a cutting wheel, grinding wheel, Type 27 grinding guard, type 1 guard attachment and a spanner wrench. It can be used for cutting metal, ceramic and other hard materials. The advantage of having a brushless motor is it has less friction than a standard motor. This helps keep the 6500 RPM motor run time longer and extend the life of the motor. It has a 3 position side handle you can easily move to be able to reach a tough area on any project. It has an on board wrench storage that is on the side handle for easy change over. The end result is it has great power for a cordless angle grinder and it's affordable, with all it's features it sure can handle the toughest jobs without any issues.
I now have a full set of battery powered HART power tools and I could not be more pleased. The set I received has a circular saw, drill and impact, flashlight and batteries - and I also have other lawn tools. On the farm, we have to rely sometimes on battery operated tools because we don't always have electricity close by. We recently built a pig-pen at the barn with raw materials taken from downed trees on family's property. The materials included white oak and red oak. Typically, these materials are horrible for draining a battery or causing binding when cutting because the wood is so hard. When I used the HART circular saw for the first time, I was impressed with the lightweight design but when I powered through the first cut, I was hooked. My husband has always used expensive name brands so I let him give the saw a try. He is one of those skilled builders who knows his tools. He was very impressed that he was able to strip a red oak board lengthwise and never lost power, even though the wood is very hard. We also cut white oak boards as needed during the build. The same weekend, we tore down an old farm structure so I was able to use the impact to remove old screws. It was beautiful. These tools are lightweight but powerful. The batteries are not clunky and they fit seamlessly into the job being done. You're not going to get your battery hung up like some other brands I have used. The battery life also exceeded my expectations. Truthfully, I am confused as to why this hasn't been in my life sooner. My husband was mystified by these tools because he has always been partial to another name brand. One of his favorite things was that the tools are light but well made. I would absolutely buy this set for a gift and I absolutely plan to get more HART products to add to my tool kit. Seeing how well these tools are make me eager to get the chainsaw next. These are amazing. Great find!
