There are things in this world you never knew you needed until you get it and this compact sprayer is one of them! Included with the sprayer is a 20 volt lithium ion battery and charger. The battery came partially charged and it took less than two hours to bring it to a full charge. There is a light on the charger that turns from red to green to let you know when the battery is fully charged. Once you attach the battery and fill up the tank it’s ready to start spraying. The trigger is easy to push and it shoots out a nice steady stream or you can adjust the nozzle and make the spray a fine mist. I decided to keep my sprayer indoors and use it for my cleaning products. It makes cleaning so much easier on your hands when you don’t have to constantly pump a spray bottle to get the cleaner out. I’ve used the sprayer on my showers, sinks, tile floors, and hardwood floors. It’s compact and lightweight so it’s easy to move from room to room. The tank is easy to clean with soap and water. I think it’s fun to use and it can be used for so many things outside too! It would make a great gift for any occasion!
i originally thought these could only be used for it's intended purpose - spraying fertilizer or weed killer around the yard. it is obviously great for that but so much more too! it can be used with disinfectant when cleaning large areas too which is very handy. it's great for bathrooms and kitchen counter tops and can reach into very tight areas and the continuous spray gives full coverage of any area. i am so glad i don't have to buy another spray bottle! i love that it is cordless and comes with a battery - that lasts a long time! - and charger that can also be used with other Hart products. no need for keeping up with several different batteries and makes it very economical! i can't wait to discover other uses for it around the house.
HART’s cordless Compact Sprayer Kit is amazing. I didn't know how much use i would have with this sprayer, My husband went crazy with it... he used it in the garden to treat for pests, shot down a wasp nest using soap and water. misted my orchids !! The included 20V 2.0Ah Lithium-ion Battery covers up to 200 tanks per charge and the battery is usable with ALL HART 20V tools !! Comes with everything...20V Compact Sprayer, 2.0Ah Battery, Fast Charger & Operator’s Manuals. It has a ½ liter capacity and weighs 2.47 lbs. Amazing tool !!
The HART 20-volt compact sprayers is a great product. It's lightweight and easy to use. It doesn't take long for the batter to completely charge which is nice. Very useful in the garden.
What a handy little spraying machine this is! We love it! Specifically for weed killer. It’s best for quick touch-ups as the tank is small, half of a liter (0.5L) to be exact, and needs refilled often if doing a lot of weeds, but for touching up or doing small areas, this a perfect! You can put any liquid that needs to be sprayed in this thing. It’s lightweight, very easy to hold and grip. Your arm and wrist won’t get tired of using it. It’s reliable, having no issues for us and sprays every time. It has an adjustable nozzle so you can mist or stream. It comes with a 20 volt battery and battery charger, which is fantastic and charges it up good but we haven’t timed how long it takes to fully charge a depleted battery. The only complaint I have is that I wish the little charging base could be hung up, as we hang up all our charging docks/bases for tools, etc. in one spot so we don’t misplace anything. There is a charging light on the charging base but not on the battery itself. No full/low battery indicator or light. Really not enough of a complaint to knock off a star. If the tank was a bit larger, it would be even better, but may be more difficult to hold for some when full. I really like this Hart Sprayer. I will have plenty of uses for it, especially this summer.
This little guy is perfect for the hard to reach little jobs that otherwise would drive you mad in a garden. Light weight, compact and portable with a long lasting battery life what more is there to want in a sprayer?! You can’t ask for more from this product as it gives you light weight reach for spraying the garden with pesticide or maybe even liquid fertilizer. The only thing I would like extra would be a second or even third bottle at different volume capacity’s. This is an easy win for gardeners. Highly recommend.
According to the packaging and user's guide, there are a myriad of ways this sprayer could be used around the house. Bug spray, weed killer, etc., etc., etc. Am I intending to use it one of those ways? Nope. I have a slightly different (and perfect) way to use it. I live in Florida - during the winter (what we call the dry season) there isn't much rain - so sprinklers are absolutely required to keep your lawn and shrubs from frying in the heat. Like many others, I have a well to supply water to the sprinklers. It saves a bunch of money, but has one drawback - "rusty" water. When the sprinklers spray water around, there is a degree of "rust" embedded in that water. When that water comes in contact with the house, or (in my case) with a PVC fence around my yard, it leaves an ugly rust-colored stain on said house/fence which is almost impossible to remove. A few years back, I found a liquid which, if sprayed on that rust, will dissolve and remove it with little effort. The problem is getting the liquid onto the house/fence. Till now, that required endless squeezing of the trigger on a squirt bottle (and the resulting sore/weary hand and fingers). As you can now surmise, I have a very specific and effective way to use this sprayer.... rust removal !!! Bottom line, could I use it in a variety of ways, yes - will I - no. But would I recommend it to others (even if not in Florida) - absolutely, yes!
This 20volt compact sprayer can be for mutiple uses inside and outside of the house. It sprays in a straight line or as a mist. When fully charged the battery does last a while. Works best when tank is full and when holding it straight out not aiming down.
I was really excited to try out the new 20-volt compact chemical sprayer. For years I have either bought the chemicals that 1) come in a bottle with a typical hand pump and by the time I am done spraying the spray around my house, my hand is so cramped up and hurts for days or 2) are a concentrate that I put in a pump sprayer that you have to pump about 50 times to get the pressure good enough to spray and then every 5 minutes you have to pump again. If you are like me and wanted an alternative that is super easy and super convenient, this is the sprayer for you. The battery charged faster than I am used to. Then I simply unscrewed the bottle from the sprayer, poured my garden insect spray in it and screwed it back on. Then all you do is pull the handle. A beautiful large mist came out immediately that covered an entire potted plant’s width. It made spraying evenly so easy. You can adjust the nozzle to do a single stream if you need to get in tight spaces, but I preferred the misting setting. You should be able to see in the pictures how large of a mist it is. I also bought a de-fungal spray and was easy able to spray it on my tree trunks that have started to get a fungus growing on them. The wider mist made it really easy to cover the large trunk quickly. I don’t think I will ever go back to a hand pump or pump sprayer. I started thinking of all the different things I could use this for.
Maybe I didn't do it right, I read the instructions and followed them but this Hart compact sprayer didn't work very well. I charged the battery first so it was fully charged. Filled with weed killer. Put battery pack on. After quite a few attempts of pushing in the trigger, readjusting the nozzle, I finally got it to spray. But I had to lean down right next to each weed to spray. It soaked it well but couldn't really spray multiple weeds at same time. Then once I released trigger, spray continued to come out until it stopped. Normally taking your finger off trigger, it stops the flow. Maybe it was my inexperience but wasn't real happy with this. Should of been much easier to use. I'm a senior so bending up and down for application to each weed wasn't very effective for me.
