[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered the dual function inflator about a month after Became interested when HART ran their $99 summer combo deals and in reality I ordered it for the 2 4 Ah batteries and figured I would get an inflator (model HPIF50) to try out. I consider myself lucky the inflator was available and it arrived early….the batteries arrive tomorrow. Since I am impatient I connected it to my 2ah battery and equalized 8 tires from as low as 33PSI to 38 PSI. The digital controls and ability to select the desired PSI made this so easy. Once your setting is achieved the inflator automatically turns off to preserve battery life and to avoid over inflation. Next I tested it on a tightly wound single person air mattress and figured I would see if it had the force to unwind the mattress and inflate it. It took less than 1 minute. I was surprised by the power and it made me laugh at the old inflator we used. I strongly recommend this for anyone camping or traveling. The built in light is a nice feature when an emergency light is needed. Once I was done inflating / testing the 2 Ah battery was down to 2 bars. Not bad at all when at home and I would suggest you pair this up with a 4 Ah for bigger jobs or carry a spare for long trips. Zero regrets with my selection and wish I had it in June when we did the family vacation and had to inflate an air mattress with an old inflator.

Plus at the price, can't be beat. I have a few Hart batteries lying around, so no trouble with having to find a power source, unlike my old 12v plug. After reading the instructions, seen that once you set it the psi you want, if the tire is flat, you have to slowly pump air until it gives a readout by simply turning it off and on a few times. I can see how some may have created a faulty unit by not following this step. Set it to pump 30psi per tire after installing new tubes in dolly, and it performed perfect in under 2 minutes per tire. Highly recommend! I love it and it's very dependable!

Great for camping too where theres no power to inflate the inflateable beds, or even pool toys i use this for everything, very dependable!

The day after I purchased and gave it to my daughter, she had a low tire and was able to put air without having to go to a gas station or getting help from a stranger. It is very easy to use and I love being able to set the air pressure to avoid over inflating.

It is very handy to have. Since I already had a Hart impact drill, it was an easy choice since the batteries are the same. Good to have in the back of the car as it also has a built in flashlight.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After purchasing several Hart 20v tools, I decided to give this inflator a try and am very happy I did! I recently had to inflate a couple tires to the recommended PSI (~7 PSI added to each tire), and this product had no problem completing the job in an expeditious manner and without overheating. Given that I was inflating the tires in dark, the integrated LED light also came in handy. This inflator also has an automatic shutoff function as well as a long hose, hence, you can set the inflator on the ground and let it do it's thing without having to hold it through the duration. I will definitely carry this in my vehicle moving forward as it is incredibly useful. Please give this item a try, I was skeptical after reading some reviews, but gave it a shot anyways and have no regrets!

I bought this for my husband for Christmas because my brother has one that we've used hundreds of times, and we loved it. However upon first use of ours, it started crackling and then caught fire. I have tried calling the company multiple times and they do not answer or call back.
