received my drill (without battery as stated) but I already have plenty so no worries. also did not come with a belt clip as stated on the box. definitely would've like that as its helpful. will reach out to manufacturer and see if they will send one. I buy Hart products all the time and they're usually pretty good so far.
You can feel and hear the power of this brushless impact! I have used the brushed impact for a year now, and then seen the brushless on a mega sale and couldn't pass up the opportunity. Well worth the money!!
This brushless impact drive provides enough torque to take off the lug nuts on my Toyota SUVs. This makes tire rotation and brake jobs on my vehicle a little easier. I only regret not buying 2 of these impact drivers when i had the chance because it was on sale at the time. 5 stars for what I paid.
Excellent performance. High quality, visually appealing, and designed well. HART brushless impact tool: Brushless motors operate without friction, which have a lot of benefits over the ones with brushes in the motor. You can google the difference if interested. This is a 20v which is the most powerful battery operated tool available. The only thing missing from this one that some others have is the torque selector. Which really isn't that important since most ppl don't know how to decide anyway. Just watch what your doing so you won't sink a screw too far. I'm so impressed with the performance of this Driver. Powerful. It will handle anything I ever need to do. I'm thrilled with it! I used it to frame and tin a wall under the awning on my barn. (Battery sold separately).
I haven't used this brushless one yet beyond making sure it worked out of the box, but these impacts have been great for deck repairs. Figured I'd upgrade my brushed one since this was on sale and the brushed one had been great. I know it can't remove a lug on a semi truck that's been in the rust belt, but for the price I think 5 stars is fair for what all it can do.
I recently had the opportunity to test the HART 20-Volt Cordless Brushless Impact Driver (Battery not Included), and I must say, it left a positive impression on me. This impact driver offers a combination of compact design, solid performance, and versatile features that make it a reliable tool for both DIY enthusiasts and professionals. One of the standout features of this impact driver is its brushless motor technology. The brushless design ensures efficient power delivery and extends the tool's overall lifespan. With a maximum torque of 1800 in-lbs, this impact driver has no trouble tackling a wide range of fastening tasks, from heavy-duty applications to delicate precision work. The power-to-size ratio is impressive, making it suitable for various projects. Although the battery is not included, it's worth mentioning that the HART 20-Volt Cordless Brushless Impact Driver is compatible with the HART 20-Volt Lithium-Ion battery system. This compatibility allows users who already own other HART 20-Volt tools to interchange batteries, saving money and providing convenience. However, it's essential to note that the battery needs to be purchased separately, which can be a minor inconvenience for those who don't already have one. Ergonomics play a vital role in ensuring comfort during extended use, and this impact driver delivers in that regard. The compact and lightweight design makes it easy to maneuver in tight spaces and reduces user fatigue. The rubberized grip feels comfortable in hand, providing excellent control and minimizing the risk of accidental slips. Whether you're working overhead or in cramped corners, the compact size of this tool comes in handy. Another notable feature of the HART 20-Volt Cordless Brushless Impact Driver is its variable speed trigger. This feature allows for precise control over the driving speed, preventing overtightening of fasteners and ensuring a more accurate and efficient operation. Additionally, the built-in LED work light illuminates the work area, making it easier to work in dimly lit spaces or during nighttime projects. The build quality of this impact driver is solid, with durable materials that inspire confidence in its longevity. The metal chuck provides a secure grip on the bits, preventing slippage during operation. However, it's worth mentioning that the lack of a belt clip is a minor drawback, as it would have been a helpful addition for convenient storage and accessibility. Overall, the HART 20-Volt Cordless Brushless Impact Driver (Battery not Included) offers an excellent balance of power, versatility, and portability. Its brushless motor technology, ergonomic design, and variable speed trigger make it a reliable tool for a wide range of fastening tasks. While the need to purchase the battery separately is a slight inconvenience, the compatibility with the HART 20-Volt battery system adds value for existing HART tool users. If you're in the market for a compact and powerful impact driver, this HART model is definitely worth considering.
Great brushless impact driver. Plenty of power, well made, quality tool. Hart is made by TTI which is the same company that makes Milwaukie tools. This is not a cheap low quality tool that some people equate with Walmart overseas imports.
I like the Hart impact drill. It's brushless version is even more powerful than the regular brush version in every way. 2,200 in-lbs. of torque, up to 3,900 IPM tops the list of affordability and ultarian tool with a longer run time.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the HART 20v Brushless Impact Driver a few weeks ago and had a chance to test it out once a battery arrived in the HART blanket kit I bought (check that review). First off I bought this because it was on sale for a price I couldn't pass up and it was brushless. Once connected to a 20v 2ah battery it felt very balanced in my hand. I liked the 2 ballbearing 1/4” collet and rubber grip. Might have been me but the trigger felt a little wobbly. Either way it didn't have any adverse effect when I used it. The unit is single speed but you can gauge speed using the trigger. I tested it with a self driving spade bit, lag screw and deck screw and in all three cases the operation was very smooth. I honestly thought it would time out when I drilled two holes 2.5” deep using a 1” self driving spade bit….it didn't but the wood chips on the pressure treated lumber were flying. While I wanted building a deck with it I'm sure I could as long as I had a larger battery or another smaller one in reserve. I used a sister brand in the past and this just had more guts to it. The brushless motor gave it instant power. This impact drill is a DIYer powerhouse and I am looking forward to doing more projects with it. I would recommend this to other DIYers!
This impact driver arrived at the same time that we received the 4 pc combo hobby set. We immediately checked it out as soon as the battery was charged up. This impact driver does not come with the batter and is sold separately by Hart. I used one that came with the hobby set and charged with the battery charger from the set. It must use a 20V Hart Battery. The primary use for this Impact driver is for driving screws into the wood but is great for any other job that requires screws also. We do a lot of repurposing of old furniture and this is exactly what we needed to drive screws. This has a brushless motor and it delivers up to 2200 lbs of torque to sink those screws in good. It has a variable speed trigger for great control. It has a quarter inch ¼” hex chuck. It fits snuggly and comfortably in the hand and it comes with an onboard LED light and has a belt clip for easy access. This sounds silly, but the belt clip is great for those hobby folks who lay stuff down and then can't find them. We are completely satisfied with this impact driver and highly recommend.
