[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First tool I bought after buying my house. Felt solid, came with two batteries. I am not a professional builder but for tinkering around the house it is more than enough. Also checked out the rest of the Hart 20v family and after seeing all the other tools that shared the same battery I felt safe in buying this and knowing that I can stay in the same 20v Hart system for other things that I may need.
Hart 20v Impact Driver - this drill is fast and powerful! Drill is a bit heavy, but still compact. It comes with a driver bit and battery. Charges fast. It has a button on the battery you can push to see how much life is left in the battery - awesome feature!!! The bit is easy to change with a spring loaded push pull. The on-board light is bright - this is another awesome feature!! Great item.
We are always doing projects around here and looking for great tools to make the jobs easier. This Hart Impact Driver does a great job tackeling even the hardest jobs. The light on it is so very handy. One of the only things I don't like is that its pretty heavy. I can't use it for too long because my arms wear out. But my husband really likes it and trys to use it as much as possible.
I had been using a drill as a driver for years, but finally decided to get a real driver. This works much better as it is much less likely to strip the head of the screws. I tried it out on a cheap, easily stripped screw and it drove the screw all the way into the wood without stripping. It comes with one bit that is Phillips only. You will likely need additional bits, which are required to be 2 inches long. I plan on using a hex extender that I already have to make changing bits easier with this driver. So far, the battery seems to hold a charge for quite a while and the driver even came almost fully charged. The battery is a lithium battery, so it's more convenient to charge in between uses, without having to drain the battery completely. And the battery charger comes with a convenient light to show the status of the charging of the battery. The driver itself is small and compact, this is a plus to me since I have so little storage space.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my Hart impact driver about 3 years ago when I decided I wanted me a new deck out back of my house 🏡 so I looked over all the drills and drives until I decided on a Hart impact driver So I went out to Walmart and bought it so I got up the next day and got started I started with the frame work it was going great then went I got to the 3/8 lag bolts I said to myself this thing ain't going to drive this thing man did I get fooled it drove it in like the wood was butter then went I got to the floor boards driving the screws was nothing for this Hart impact driver about a week later I was done with my new deck out back and it has been 3 and a half year ago now and I still use my Hart impact driver it was one of the best decisions I had made in my life
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this driver for over a year. Gets used everyday due to my line of work. I hoped for it to give up after so much abuse to upgrade to the brushless version with the new chuck but this thing just doesn't quit. Truly a bang for your buck. Just wish it had a hook.
This impact driver kit is really powerful, while it is also very smooth and very easy to handle. Unlike the other electric drivers that I have this, this one is much better. The power switch seems to control the drive speed. If I lightly press the power button, it does not run fast. The included battery and charger are plus. The flat battery can be used as the base and the drive kit can sit on it sturdy. I really love this!
The Hart 20 volt ¼” Impact Driver Kit works great. This is a kit so it includes a 20 volt, 1.5 amp hour battery and the charger. The tool is well balanced with the included battery. I like the way it fits in my hand, like it was custom made for it. The grip is a hard rubber which helps to reduce felt vibrations and to keep the tool from slipping in your hand. The trigger is wide and comfortable while using. The variable speed trigger is also responsive. The harder you push in the trigger the faster the impact driver operates. The forward and backward control button is easy to manipulate with your thumb and index finger. If you are holding the drill in your right hand you can push in the blue button with your index finger for clockwise rotation. If you push in the blue button with your thumb it will operate in counterclockwise rotation. If you leave the blue button in the middle position it will prevent the drill from being accidentally engaged. There are rubber bumper pads on the sides of the driver which help to prevent the tool from sliding off of a surface. The drill has a quick attach chuck or collet. You simply pull forward to insert or release the bits. There is a bit holder on the back of the tool with an included Phillips bit. Hart has a full line of impact drill bit accessories and larger batteries that can also be purchased. When you press the trigger a bright, white LED light activates from the bottom of the grip. The light stays on for about 15 seconds after releasing the trigger. The light is very bright and much appreciated. I used the drill during the evening, while installing a solar powered light on my deck, and it made the job effortless and easy to see. The first time I charged the battery from empty I could not believe how fast it charged, about 30 minutes. I intentionally fully discharged the battery and charged it again with the same results. The included 20v charger has red and green lights that indicate the charging status and can charge up to two amps. I am pleased with the performance of the included lithium ion battery. It seems to last for a very long time with intermittent use. I also appreciate the battery charge status light and button on the battery so you know when it is getting time to charge the battery again. Everything about the drill feels like good quality. It works great driving screws! I am used to using a drill to drive screws and was surprised at how easily it drove them into my wood deck. My only complaint with this tool, since I am usually climbing and working on an extension ladder, is it needs a belt clip or a hook. Overall, this is a good item and I recommend it.
I bought this for my husband for Christmas and today was his second time using it. This time he was going to rotate his tires. This impact driver would not loosen a nut on the tire nor a break caliper. This is the whole reason why I bought the impact driver so he could take tires off.. I'm very disappointed it's not worth having, for us anyways. This should say not rated to remove tires
Instead of reimbursing me my payment for the items I purchased you substituted them for items you thought I would want. If I wanted those items you gave me, I would have bought them in the first place. Now I have items that I didn't want or need…
