[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First tool I bought after buying my house. Felt solid, came with two batteries. I am not a professional builder but for tinkering around the house it is more than enough. Also checked out the rest of the Hart 20v family and after seeing all the other tools that shared the same battery I felt safe in buying this and knowing that I can stay in the same 20v Hart system for other things that I may need.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my Hart impact driver about 3 years ago when I decided I wanted me a new deck out back of my house 🏡 so I looked over all the drills and drives until I decided on a Hart impact driver So I went out to Walmart and bought it so I got up the next day and got started I started with the frame work it was going great then went I got to the 3/8 lag bolts I said to myself this thing ain't going to drive this thing man did I get fooled it drove it in like the wood was butter then went I got to the floor boards driving the screws was nothing for this Hart impact driver about a week later I was done with my new deck out back and it has been 3 and a half year ago now and I still use my Hart impact driver it was one of the best decisions I had made in my life
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this driver for over a year. Gets used everyday due to my line of work. I hoped for it to give up after so much abuse to upgrade to the brushless version with the new chuck but this thing just doesn't quit. Truly a bang for your buck. Just wish it had a hook.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just recently bought a new one t he old one I had for over 5 years an it still works just my drill bit got stuck in it so I had to get a new one the reason why the bit got stuck was bc I had left the drill outside more then once an d the. The drill bit got stuff on to it and couldn't get it off best drill ever that's why I bought a noth for one
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Impressive rugged construction. Love the slim rubberized grip and smooth variable control. Terrific value, especially for the bundled sets. Nice color combination; looks like a “pro” tool, built for longevity.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've bought a bunch of hart tools now and love them all and build all the time would love to try the one hand sawzall
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used this to build 2 decks, and some steps. Over all good drill just make sure you have some extra batteries. They also take some time to charge like an hr +
I returned the one I bought because the gears seemed to be noisier than normal. Other than the rough gearbox this is a remarkable tool. I has lots of power but also fine speed control. In a way I like this model with brushes better than the brush less ones. The trigger response is much more predictable and linear. The brush less ones have a delay while the circuitry decides what you want it to do. The brushed one also is smaller in diameter but longer. I probably wouldn't have noticed the rough gears if I didn't have the brush less one also. It is a lot quieter and it spins faster but the speed control is less precise than the one with brushes. I gave it four stars for the noisy gearbox but that may be a defect in the one I had. I would not hesitate to purchase one again.
I bought this for my husband for Christmas and today was his second time using it. This time he was going to rotate his tires. This impact driver would not loosen a nut on the tire nor a break caliper. This is the whole reason why I bought the impact driver so he could take tires off.. I'm very disappointed it's not worth having, for us anyways. This should say not rated to remove tires
didn't even get to use it.either the charger or the batteries were bad. took it back for refund,no problem.
