This is a charger for the 20 volt lithium batteries that Hart rechargeable tools use. It charges up to 4 batteries in sequential order. It does charge much faster than the single battery charger that comes with the rechargeable tool package. It takes about an hour to charge a battery so it is more of a rapid charger. The included single battery charger takes about 3 hours to charge a battery. This one is much faster. It works great. If you are buying the Hart Rechargeable Too package then I would definitely by this too, and some extra batteries.
I got the tool pack and having this 4 battery charger is an amazing addition. I have always struggled with trying to keep all of the batteries charged so that they are all full and ready to go when needed. Now I can. This charges all of your batteries at once, keeps them in one place, the handle makes it easy to transport your batteries to the job site.
This is a great battery charger!!! I highly recommend it if you are a diy... it will accommodate 4 20 volt Hart batteries for storage. The charging is made easy as it charges one battery at a time then automatically goes on to charge the next battery in line without you having to remember to do it yourself or even lift a finger. The charging indicator panel is highly visible and easy to read. It is lightweight but very durable in its construction... it even has a convenient carrying handle. It also has a generous length of cord . I recommend it to anyone who is a DIY.
The HART 4 charger charging station is a great complement to Your HART tools set. This charger charges up to 4 batteries. The batteries slide in and out easily. The charging station is Easy to understand as it lights up with a certian color to let you know The status of the batteries. It's also great to.use if your not sure how much Charge you have left in your battery. You slide in your battery and get a Reading of how much energy you have, such as orange, red, or green. You can use this charging port layer on its side, or standing. It has a convenient carry handle if your taking this with you to a work. Area. Or you hand set this on your workbenches, or hang it by the handle. Definitely a must have for multiple HART tools, to charge everything In one space instead of multiple individual chargers! Highly recommended *** batteries in the picture not included, just for example***
HART 20V 4 Port Charger is very convenient. Although right now we only have two batteries we hope to get more. Even with having just the two batteries, it is nice to be able to just put your batteries on the charger and not have to worry about going back and having to put on your next batter as you do with a single battery charger. With this charger as one battery completes its charging, it will go on to charge the next. Many times my husband has had a job the next day and with his old set of cordless tools, one or more batteries would not get charged. We had to wait for one to finish before we could put the next one on. Not only does it have this nice feature it looks nice on the tool shelf and it is durable and fairly quick. It is the perfect accompaniment to the HART cordless toolset.
I love this setup. Charge up to 4 batteries quickly. It's very rugged and can sit in a couple of positions. This is a great multi-tool charger, to keep you going!
Convenient also has a fast charge. The one I have will charge 4 lithium-ion batteries at a time saving time when completing a project. Charge lasts a good amount of time. Batteries slide on and off easily. Lightweight and it only needs a small amount of space for storage. I would recommend this charger if purchasing for your own hart tool use or gifts when purchasing these tool additions for family or friends.
I bought new, but the cord was unwound with the twist tie and plastic cord protector thrown in box. Then retaped. That's shadey business. I'm not returning it so you can't sell it again as new. Smh. I bought this because I have several Hart tools. Each has a battery and charger, leaving a mess of chargers and hogging up outlets. This works better. And makes it easier to carry several batteries around. I left it on the floor to charge 4 batteries and there were no issues. It doesn't tip easy and feels pretty stable. I'm disappointed with the dishonesty and want that known.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] TLDR -it charges ONE battery at a time THEN moves on to the next battery as installed despite levels of charge. So if you bought this for the lawn mower that runs for 10 mins and drains all 4 batteries your still going to have to wait 10 hours for all 4 4amp hour batteries to completely charge. It needs to be labeled 4 port SINGLE bank charger.... or why not just allow it to charge 2amps per bank for the price it's Msrp?? If I hadn't got this one saw 1/2 price I'd return it in a HART beat. I'm not beating up on hart tools I've been with them since the quality hammer days long ago, I'm a fan of their ratcheting wrenches and tape measures, even shop vacs...but I do feel a little mislead in buying this “4 port” charger....
My tools were stolen out of my work truck, which was about $10,000 worth of tools so I bought all of my tools from hart so i could save up money again to buy my DeWalt tools, but let me tell you I've had nothing but issues and problems spent about two grand buying all of the tools I needed to work 80% of everything I got was either broken didn't work or quit working after a couple weeks and then I had to take off work to go through the hassle of trying to return or exchange, but none of the stores had anything in stock so I had to go through all the hassle of boxing everything up going to the store to have labels printed out then having to wait weeks before I get received the replacement and then there would be something wrong with that and for all this trouble I went through didn't do anything for the huge headache and extra money, I had to spend for fuel and taking off work I won't ever buy another hart product again.
