I really like this coat. I despise being cold. Like, with the passion of a thousand burning suns. Which is funny, because that should make me feel warm, but it doesn't because I live in the midwest. Anyhow, the coat heats up quickly. I usually use the medium temperature setting. The battery lasts for days. My only issue is that the battery is pretty heavy. I just zip it up in the left pocket and ignore it. I love all of the Hart products I have purchased so far. When I sent the advert to my wife and said I'd love this coat for my birthday, she did not hesitate and I'm glad she didn't!!
I wasn't expecting this jacket to work very well but I was pleasantly surprised, I used it all day today as it was our coldest day yet. They actually kept me to warm and I had to turn it down, I definitely believe I will be using this for work due to I am required to stand outside and extremely cold weather conditions for long periods of time, so this is jacket will come in very handy. I thought that the battery placement in the left-back would be awkward oh, there's actually wasn't too because it doesn't get behind your back when you sit down it goes to the side. Also the battery pack has an extra USB port for charging your phone . Only negative I can see is that it doesn't have an indicator to let you know what heat setting you are on you just have to come through them. But it's not hard to figure out once you have it on and heated up.
Great Jacket would of been 5 stars if it had a pocket on the inside
When living in the mountains, you never know what kind of weather to expect, especially once the winter months set in. This jacket will prepare you for the coldest weather, for when working outside, shoveling snow, or just being outside to enjoy brisk, chilly weather. The jacket is soft and cozy but strong enough to be functional, and you can put a sweater under it. Pockets galore with zippered openings. You can also make adjustments to the snugness so it fits tight or loose at the jacket hem. Battery charges quickly.
I was extremely excited when I saw the HART 20-Volt Heated Medium Duty Jacket, Black, Large. As soon as I pulled it out of the box I was happy with the feel of it, it is very comfortable and not stiff at all. It heats up very fast and I also like that their are three different heat settings. The 20v battery lasts for quite a few hours which is perfect on a cold day or night. My only concern was the placement of the battery. Other than that it is perfect and 100 percent would reccomend especially if you get cold easy like me.
Very stylish, high quality and lightweight warmth. Very nice jacket to wear throughout the day and evening in fall and winter since you can wear it when it's cool or as it gets cooler or even cold you can plug in the battery with 3 levels of warmth to keep you even more comfortable with the convenience of a lightweight jacket. The battery is universal and can also run your cell phone if the battery gets low.
First off it's a great looking coat. The heater connections are in a rear side pocket. easy to hook up. I would prefer they be up in front as sometimes I tend to sit on it but not a deal breaker... Easy to operate with a push button switch on the left breast, color coded for 3 heat ranges.. Works great. Good idea.
It's warm but definitely not close for something to wear while hunting or on a very cold day I wouldn't plan on staying outside for a long time
i really do like this heated jacket i got for my husband but im very upset and disappointed how my husbands Christmas package didnt come discreet. He came home seeing what i what i got him. i never had this happen. i won't be buying from this seller again.
I'm not too happy with how this item was shipped to me, it is the Christmas season a time for people to buy presents online and my item was shipped in its original packaging. Clearly so everyone can see what the item is. I'm not happy to say the least. I also know this has nothing to do with Hart, but the box was sopping wet, so much so that the ends of the box were unglued, by the time I received it. But maybe this wouldn't have happened if it was shipped in a cardboard box and the item was hidden, causing damage to the cardboard box on the outer side and not the items box. Unsatisfied is an understatement! I just hope that this item works when it is received on Christmas Day!
