This is a fantastic hedge trimmer. It came with a 2ah battery and a charger. This has a very long handle which can be used with the extension or without. This comes with a blade cover. The handle is comfortable and the product is very appealing. The cutter has a large push button to swivel the head to change the angle of the blade. This cuts nicely, has a great amount of power. The battery that goes with this is interchangeable with many other power tools, I'm impressed with how many options in this brand there are. The only issue we have with this is the trigger isn't always dependable. It takes a couple of tries to make this work sometimes. Could be a safety feature but unsure of that. Our other electric tools don't have that issue. All and all this is a fabulous product and I highly recommend this to anyone wanting a power hedge trimmer.
Used on our big oak tree out front and 2 viburnum trees in our backyard it works perfectly. The length of the pole stretches very nicely gives you nice height we also had to use a ladder because our trees are very high cuts through limbs and branches effortlessly. Very powerful and not heavy like gas powered machine and no wires like an electric. I highly recommend this to anyone.
My favorite part of this hedge trimmer is the multi pivoting blade for reaching those hard to get to areas. I also love that it has an extension pole that can be added to it for those higher areas that are harder to reach. I've used this trimmer twice now on an overgrown bush in my backyard and the battery is still going. Overall I am extremely happy with this product!
The Hart 20V Pole Hedge trimmer can be used to trim different heights of shrubs and brushes. It can also be used to trim trees. My husband was able to use this tool to trim the bottom of the tree branches to ensure none of them touch the top of my car when I back out of our driveway. This took at be used at two different lengths both got the job done for us. This took at be used at a 90 degree angle to cut. My husband can't wait to use this tool more to get our brushes and trees into shape once it is time.
We have a couple of large, overgrown bushes by our front door, and they're so big they're blocking our doorbell camera from a full view of the driveway. Before now I was doing my best to clip off branches with a basic pair of clippers, and it was a huge pain. I gave this hedge trimmer a chance and it changed the game for me! It's cordless, so I charged it up and popped the battery in when I was ready to use it, no dragging out a large extension cord with some of our older lawn tools. Very convenient! It isn't too of the line, but it's powerful enough to slice right through these bushes! The bar also pivots so you can stand in place, and still trim along the top of the hedge without needing to up on a ladder. I'm really happy with it! The battery lasted plenty long enough to shape up both bushes, and could probably keep going much longer, but I didn't have anything else to trim. I have a feeling when warmer weather comes, this will hold up well and be a really practical tool for taking care of a lot of the backyard!
The HART 20V Pole Hedge Trimmer is wonderful for trimming all types of hedges short or tall! It comes with an 8Ft extension pole and I love this tool! As a woman, I couldn't have asked for anything better.. With the old trimmer I was constantly getting cords wrapped up and having to untangle them. WELL, NO more extension cords, NO more gas, and NO small engine maintenance! This tool runs off a 20V battery and that is conveniant, has a 5/8" cut capacity, and cutting angles with a pivoting head! Can't go wrong here in my opinion.. Buy with Confidence.
We live in a area where we have a ton of trees and bushes. I needed something that could reach up high with out needing a ladder. I had no clue they even made these with extensions to reach up high. We had a bad winter with bad winds and bad snow storms that wrecked our trees. I had to find something to help me fix the trees and bushes. Thankfully this hedge trimmer helped me trim up the small beaches and the bushes that were destroyed. This took is worth having so that you do not have to pay for yard work. This hedge trimmer cost about the same amount as one lawn care visit. So it is well worth the investment. It is easy to use and has a great extension pole for you to use the hedge trimmer up high. That way you do not have to balance on a ladder while trying to cut bushes or hedges. One of the major pluses to this head trimmer is that the battery for all hart tools work on any of their tools. Which is amazing saves you a lot of money of having to go buy new batteries if you just buy their tools in one of the batteries go out you'll always have a back up battery to use. That is one of the things that sold me on buying this hedge trimmer. This hedge trimmer has a 20 volt system which is a lot more power then you would think. This hedge trimmer has dual action blades so it's not so much vibration while you're holding the tour. It also has rear handle to help you get a better grip on the hedge trimmer. It leaves seamless amazing straight lines cutting your bushes branches anything you need in the yard this is perfect for. I am very happy with my new tour and I will be buying more tools from this company because I have nothing but great things to say about this brand so far. I've had this hedge trimmer for over a month and I have literally use it on anything and everything in the yard and our yard looks amazing just in time for spring. If you do not have a hedge trimmer go buy yourself one invest in it for your property you will not be disappointed.
I have used corded hedge trimmers and gas hedge trimmers, but this battery-powered trimmer is my favorite. Cords always get in the way (I even cut through one once!), and the gas trimmers are way too heavy and loud! This one had plenty of power to trim hedges and was a very comfortable weight. The shoulder strap is also helpful to give your arms a break occasionally. The battery provided enough power to trim my 16 feet of hedges with power to spare. I am looking for more to trim with it! The tilting head makes it easier to swing the trimmer across the tops and sides of even hard to reach areas. It is also very nice that the battery is interchangeable with the other Hart products. It seems sturdy enough to last me years trimming the hedges on my property, and probably my neighbors, too!
I ordered this to save the trip to the store. When it arrived, I put it together only to realize the battery was bad. It flashed red and would not charge. The manual said to return the battery and charger to the store. At the store I was told they need everything regardless of what the manual said. Another trip back to the store to return the entire tool. They didn't have another nedger in stock. It was quite disappointing to think someone couldn't look at it and give a replacement battery considering they sell the battery in the store. I don't want to reorder and risk running into a similar problem, I did see another person also mentioned receiving a bad battery. I'm looking at other brands in the meantime.
I was excited to receive this! Unfortunately, the battery wont charge so I have to return it and repurchase. Fingers crossed that tge replacement will be in working condition 🤞
