Great set of bits, with all of the sizes you would really ever need around the house. They are precision as well and can hold tight tolerances without too much runout when using on a drill press. The 1/2” size does have a tapered shank so you can chuck it up in a 3/8” arbor. With a nice little carrying case, this are a great addition to any toolbox and will be well used. Based on my experience with them so far, they will hold an edge for many years. Well done again Hart.
This is a very well made 21 pc drill bit set. The carry case is sturdy and the bit holders rotate for easy removal/placement of the bit. The bits themselves are very well made of quality products. Have used for drilling out several materials including wood and metal. Many more uses ahead! These are made to last!
I received this Hart 21- piece Titanium Drill bit set as part of Walmart’s Spark Reviewer Program. This is a 21 piece drill set made of titanium. Titanium is a very desired metal for tools because of its high strength, low density, and the fact that it is corrosion resistant. Titanium is stronger than many steels. These bits are ideal for wood, metal, and plastic applications. The bits come in various sizes from 1/16” to 1/2”. It has easy starting with a no slip shank. My husband used them in a drill as well as drill press. He drilled the holes for his work bench with ease. They fit into the drill shaft with no issues. He feels confident that these drill bits will tackle all the various projects that he has ahead.
The HART 21-Piece Titanium Drill Bit Set with Protective Storage Case is fantastic! These titanium drill bits fit perfectly in my 20v Hart drill. The bits are made with titanium material, which will help them to last a lot longer. The 135 split point bits do not walk or slip across the material when you start to drill into material ad are faster than other drill bits. These bits work well with wood, metal and pvc material. The set comes with one of each size ranging from 1/16” to ½” and five of the sizes have two of each. I like the protective storage case that holds all of the bits in place too. The inserts flip up to easily locate the size I need. I also like that the easy to read sizes are printed on the holders for each bit to guide me to put them back in the correct place. I have plenty of projects to work on at my job and around the house, and these bits are well needed and will be very dependable. I’ve had a couple of friends already asking me where I got them. I now know what to get them to help their job easier too.
The 21-piece Hart Titanium Drill Bit set is impressive. Each bit I tried, on wood, metal, and even some PVC pipes, performed very well. I then decided to go one step further. To see if Hart's drill bits could take on something a little different. I started a project for fun, to recycle tin cans into decorative candle holders for our patio. I created a pattern of holes and "traced" them with my drill. It was easy to do, and I was finished in less time than it took for the paint to dry! I'm thrilled with the results. We can now dine outdoors by candlelight. Here are some points worth repeating: 1. There are 21 drill bits and range in size from 1/16th of an inch to 1/2 an inch. 2. They have split point tips to prevent traveling and for up to 4 times faster drilling. 3. They are coated with titanium to reduce friction and last longer. 4. There is a protective case to hold and store every bit in its proper place. I'll be able to identify which one if a drill bit ever goes missing. It was a great choice. Thank you, Hart!
I fell in love with all the Hart products, I’m so glad that I got introduced to them all the products that they’ve made so far that I’ve encountered are very well quality made products stands up to the job, very durable, Well-made now these drillbits that I used I actually made holes in concrete, I wasn’t sure if it would stand up to this job but it did
I got this drill bit set from Walmart to review. It came neatly arranged in a storage box. The drill set comes in an assortment of sizes and it neatly labeled in the box. The drill bits itself are very strong and cuts easily through wood. I used them to make some shelves and it went through easily. This is a very handy tool set to keep around the house.
This is a good drill bit set. The set came in great condition with no manufacturing flaws and no cosmetic flaws. It’s a great variety of drill bits. We’ve used all the bits to make sure they all worked equally good. The two biggest ones have the shank that does indeed prevent them from spinning in the drill. They all drilled holes through aluminum and wood easily and cleanly. The drill bit case is pretty standard, I think it’ll last the lifetime of the tools as long as it is not mishandled or abused. This should be a sufficient variety of drill bits for most projects. I’m happy with them.
I'm reviewing the HART 21-Piece Titanium Drill Bit Set with Protective Storage Case, They are strong and with titanium coating for less friction and range from sizes 1/16"- 1/2", it comes in a hard plastic case a nice size to fit in your toolbox, they are marked with the size drill bits and they have flip-up hinges for easier access to get the bits out. Each drill bit has a pointed tip for easier drilling so the bit doesn't walk as they call it they are very sharp and drill very easy. I've used them on wood and metal and both entered well. The 1/2" drill bit shank is made with 3 sides so they don't slip in the drill. I'll be using them in my home so they won't be used like in a man's garage so I don't see any problem with them, they say can be used on metal, wood,& plastic.I'll probably be using the small bits for my crafts to hang them or to predrill holes before nailing into them. They are made in China I wish they were made in the USA. I would purchase or refer for you to buy them if you're looking for a good set of drill bits.
There is nothing truly great about these bits. They are very average when compared with other bits we've used. The fact that they are titanium doesn't make them any stronger than other steel bits. The case they come in is a typical drill bit set case. The spots are identified with what size the bit is that goes in each spot. The bit holder rotates up and remains up while you put bits in and out. This is what all bit sets do. The packaging brags that because the tip is at a 135 degree point it will prevent the bit from walking and will lead to an easier start for drilling. I don't know what degree other bits are, but these didn't start any easier than any other bit. They say they are 4 times faster, but this isn't true. They are the same speed and accuracy of other bits. The shank says they are 3-flat shank so they won't slip. The only one that has this "3-flat shank" is the 1/2 inch bit. The others are circle, so the packaging isn't accurate about the shank shape. They hold in the drill easily. The bits are each marked with their size for easy identification, just like other bits. These are good bits, but there isn't anything overwhelmingly special about them.
