"The Hart-40 Gallon Storage Box" is what I call a 'super tote. First of all, it is a very good-looking container. With it's black bottom and blue lid, it truly is nice to look at. The heavy duty plastic construction makes it a nice tote for practically anything. Store clothes, DVDs, old magazines, files, miscellaneous items...practically whatever your heart desires. The construction of the tote box makes it easy to stack in any office, room or basement. This is a perfect option for folks who are limited on space. One other great aspect of the tote is the lockable side handles. The full dimensions of the 40-gallon storage box is a whopping 40 x 22 x 16. A really great tote box...
Oh my this is huge. If you have a lot of stuff to store like Christmas and other holiday stuff or just need to organize your garage, closets etc then this is perfect. My husband has a ton of hunting supplies crammed into tiny totes or boxes and this Hart storage container could eliminate half of those and free up space in our garage. It's made of a durable tough plastic and has locking handles to keep the lid from popping off. Could probably stack other stuff on top of this because it's definitely not flimsy. The only thing is I wish it had a see through compartment.
This is a great heavy duty storage box. I am using this for Christmas decorations as mine were in a cardboard box and this is a lot better. It has lots of room so perfect for storing decor. I like the handles how they snap closed and you know they are secured. They are easily stack able as well. Made of a thick heavy duty plastic. I see this box lasting a long time and lots of use.
I received this product in exchange for my honest review. These totes are MASSIVE! I received two that are almost the exact same. One has a handle on one end with wheels on the other end so it can be easily rolled anywhere on a solid surface. It did ok on the grass when it wasn’t too heavy. Of course being a HART brand product it is very well made and designed. The other tote is just as big, but without the handle and wheels. Both have carry handles that lock the lid on extremely tight. I am quite impressed with how well the lid fits on both. I’m betting they will keep out most pests from getting inside either tote while in storage. I like the color scheme as well. (black tote bright blue lid) I am definitely recommending these over any other brand I have or have used in the past!
This Hart storage box is impressive in not only how much it can hold but how well it is made! I am very excited to have it help me organize my storage area. It is HUGE! It measures 39.7 inches wide x 21.7 inches deep and 16.3 inches high. I took a picture of it holding toilet paper to give some idea of how much can be put inside. It easily holds 11 packs of 12 roll toilet paper! (Our family goes through the toilet paper so I like to have a lot on hand) The top fits on snuggly and it has lock down handles. There are holes around the top of the lid and the bottom of the tote that you can put zip ties through or a padlock. The handle area allows for easy gripping when I need to move the tote. It is smooth on the bottom and when packed full slides without an issues. The top is indented and nests with the the bottom of another tote for stacking. I am pleased with all aspects of this tote especially the feel of it. It is made from very hefty, heavy duty reinforced plastic!
I'm packing this sturdy tote box with emergency items in case of tornadoes or floods. A few weeks ago one of our usual thunderstorms spiraled into touchdown tornadoes with flash floods. Fortunately we have active timely tornado sirens. But we realized had not kept our basements properly provisioned with at least 3 days of water, hygiene items, people and pet food, medications etc. And we had not waterproofed items. Now, with this sturdy tub, I am keeping a better inventory of emergency supplies and hoping that they will float if needed. The lid seems to seal tight, the flip handles close shut tight. There is enough finger room to grip handles firmly. This tote is stackable.
This thing is huge! It’s sturdy and lid snaps closed and stays closed very well! The 40 gal. Size is more than enough space to store several smaller items and a some larger items (holiday type decorations, etc) I’ll be purchasing another one! Highly recommend!

Two of the lids are broke. Can't reorder. Cause I won't have them on time for my move.So frustrating.
