HART 40-Piece Assorted Drill and Drive Bit Set is a very good quality set. The set contains all the drill bits that you need for wood, metal and masonry. It also has a large number of screwdriver heads that can be used for many different purposes. Everything is nicely labeled. I have mostly used it to drill holes in bricks and wood and it seems to work perfectly. It comes with a nice storage box that has compartments to store everything neatly. Overall a really useful set and a must have tool for anyone who is into DIY projects.
this is a very nice assortment of drill bits and would be a great starter set. Everything is clearly marked in the display and the chart on the back helps identify what each bit is specifically for. These bits will be handy for projects inside and outside of the house
The drill and drive set includes 40 different pieces in a compact carrying case. This set can be used for all your DIY projects. It can be used to complete a variety of projects. This set can be used on wood, metal, PVC and masonry. It includes three spade bits, ten titanium drilling bits, four masonry bits that can be used on concrete and brick. Also, three Brad point bits for wood, nineteen driving bits and one magnetic bit holder. This drill and drive bit set was perfect for me because right now I'm remodeling my house and it fits my drill perfectly. It comes labeled for you, so you know exactly what you have. This is exactly what I needed.
My husband is a handyman and uses tools daily. He said this is a really good set...one that an experienced carpenter would use. It has very strong screw heads, flat bits, masonry drill bits, wood and metal drill bits. He said it is a "strong combination of essential drill bits required for everyday use".
This Hart 40 piece assorted drill and drive bit set definitely has it all and it comes neatly packed into a hard plastic case. It has 3 spade bits that are great for drilling into wood. I have taken down some smaller trees in the back yard and I can use these bits for drilling holes into the stumps so I can pour chemicals in the stumps to finish killing them off. This kit contains numerous titanium bits which are great for faster drilling speeds and can go through wood, metal and pvc piping. I have used pvc piping in my exotic animal cages so these bits will come in handy for that. It has a magnetic bit holder that I can use as an extension for the smaller bits when using some of these bits for screwing things together or with my hand held battery operated screw driver. With this bit set, it has some specialty bits that are called the star bits. I have used these in the past but haven’t needed them recently. Just having them included in this set is a plus to have them handy in this set just in case I should need them again in the future. Lastly, there are also some masonry bits in there as well.
So far the Hart 40 piece drill/driver set has been a great addition to my workbench. We all know how easy it is to lose a bit; but this set comes in a nice case with a hinged lid that will make it easy to keep your set complete. It has 3 spade bits, 4 masonry bits, three brad point bits, and 10 titanium coated bits, as well as a selection of screwdriver bits, all in the most commonly used sizes. As of yet, I haven't used the masonry bits, but the other ones have performed well and I haven't broken any bits. The brad point bits work good on wood and hard masonite. The titanium bits have been used on aluminum and worked well. I have used them in a cordless drill and also a drill press. I am working on a couple of projects and plan to use these a lot; I think they will serve me well!
Wow! This is a Hart 40 Piece Drill & Drive Bit Set capable of handling so many different projects. It is loaded with titanium drill bits which are used for drilling into metals and it has masonry drill bits for drilling into bricks and other objects. My husband and I have ongoing outdoor projects and we used this Drill bit set to work on our metal gazebo. The package says that the titanium drill bits... drill up to 4 times faster and I would have never believed it, if I had not seen it for myself. It drilled very quickly into the metal walls of our gazebo so I was very impressed with the performance of the titanium bits! It also comes with a very handy set of screwdriver heads which I can use all over the inside and outside of the house. In order to change my air conditioner filter I have to use 2 different screwdrivers to open the door (one Phillips and one flat). Now that I have this set, I will only need to take the screwdriver bits to open the air conditioner door to change my filter. I am very excited about that! This great set comes with a nice handy carrying case for easy accessibility and storage. If you put your bits back in the case you will always be able to find them when you need them! I can only say that I am very impressed and very happy with my set and would definitely recommend this for any household!
I was quite pleased with this little kit of bits. The case is pretty durable and has metal pins in the hinges. The slide lock has a click to it when you lock it in place and has good slide feel to it when opening and closing the lock. There is one swivel bit holder that snaps very securely, I had to take a small screwdriver to slightly pry on one side to get it to release. The bit assortment will work for about everything that you have around the house. The drill bits are five of the sizes the you would need on most small home projects. The quick release adapter has a textured grip around that was very easy to pull down to swap bits with a sweaty or greasy set of fingers. The bits swapped out easily and quickly when needing different bits, I did not experience any issues with the bits not staying secured in the adapter. The case fits in my toolbox and tool bag and can easily be store in cubbyholes in most vehicles.
Great drill bit set and comes in a very nice locking box too! The drill bits are high quality and work great with my drill. I really like that there are 40 pieces and the main ones to get my DIY projects done with. Nice set, nice case that actually holds the set in place very well & nice quality. I’m writing this review for the Walmart Spark reviews program and highly recommended this drill bit set ! Everyone could use a nice set like this ,make a great gift for anyone too!
Seems like could deal with torque generated when drilling through thicker materials. It's not the best set I've seen, but not the worst I have ever seen. It is a good mix of common bits you would need around the house.
