Easy to set up and get running. It took around 2 hours to get the battery fully charged. Big 40v battery. Wireless, no electrical cords needed. It has a great feature, variable speed. So when you start in a corner to blow out leaves, you can start slow and gradually build up wind. A great blower.
I was very impressed by the Hart Turbo Fan. I charged the battery in about 2 hours and was ready to start using it. I expected it to be noisy like most blowers but it was so quiet I was absolutely shocked. But the sound level did not match the power level. It really had a kick to it, enough so that it pushed my arm back from the first burst of air through it. I live in an area where lots of pine needles drop and so do leaves. I was surprised how little effort it took to clean my 200 foot driveway and the best part was no cords or gasoline to mess with. Just pick it up and use it. The black and blue color is really eye catching and it is quality built. Even the tube is thicker and sturdy compared to my other blower. It also is easy to remove the tube for storage so it makes it a very convenient and efficient yard tool. The turbo boost button was a big surprise as I heard the motor whine higher and larger piles were easily moved. This feature is great because I can save battery life by using the normal speed and just boost it up when needed. There was only one thing in the design that I didnt care for, The suction is through the back of the unit so it wanted to suction my pant legs when I switched hand after using for awhile. After a few trials it was easy to remember and not have that problem. Overall, I love it.
I received this product for free in exchange for an honest review. This is a great light weight blower. My husband usually handles lawn maintenance, but sometimes I like to help with blowing leaves or grass clippings. Our current blower is too heavy for me to use for a long period. This blower is MUCH lighter and manageable! Love that it is cordless!! Great power, as well.
I have a 80 V name brand blower that I have been using for several years, well the battery went out and I was in desperate need of a new blower. When I received this blower I was really curious to see what this brand has to offer. The set up is extremely easy, everything just snaps in and I am ready to blow. The battery is only 40v which is not the smallest but also not the highest. It takes quite a while to charge the battery to full charge. About hour and a half. The blower itself is not heavy, easy to carry and handle. It blows well and lasts me throughout my whole yard and sidewalk and driveway, the only thing that I really wish was different is that I wish it would be stronger blow. Just having a previous yard equipment that used to blow like crazy, this one does not have the same strength, which makes it weaker, which results in longer blow time.
I looked at the battery blowers last year, but the reviews weren't good, poor battery life, no power and long charging time. Now they are much improved and the HART blower is well balanced, powerful, decent recharge time and good battery life. I used a gas blower in my garage once and set off the smoke alarm, not anymore.
Right out of the box the battery was defective. I never got the chance to use the blower. I tried different outlets I. My house to be sure.
I got my blower July 26th the blower isn't a good product it want start blowing when you pull the trigger I guess when buy it online thats the end it was shipped out of Benton Arkansas sold Hart through Wal-Mart good luck future buyers
The charge and battery don't work!!
I bought this for a present for my husband and thought WOW, what a great price. Well, unfortunately it seems like all the negative reviews are the ones to believe. The battery will not charge at all and won't even take a charge. According to the user manual, there is an error with the battery and it needs to be returned. Ugh!!! I also feel like this may have been returned to them prior to be sold to me as it did not appear to be in a New condition. Extremely disappointed and I will be returning.
It looked like a nice leaf blower but, if the brand new battery is drained from sitting in the box too long you won't be able to charge it at all. And since it's a market place item you'll have to bring it to the store and Walmart will ship it back. After it's inspected they'll refund your purchase price (still waiting). The Walmart customer service representative told me you can't return it without a box and doubted my refund would go through due to that reason but, the email states differently. Noted below. I shop online because I can't get to the store, which won't matter because you can't refund it by mail.
