I was super excited about this item. It worked great. A bit heavy for me but I'm a girl. Still used it. It worked amazing. Was quite easy to assemble all on my own. Had super fun making everything cleaner in my yard . Comes with its battery and extra pieces to cut harder areas. I had a brand new extra battery and now I have two with charger. Super great item.
Hart's 40 VoltCordless 15 inch Brushless Carbon Fiber Attachment Capable String Trimmer with a 4.0 Lithium--Ion Battery is a nice heavy duty Trimmer compared to my 18 volt 13 inch Trimmer from a competitor. It was very easy to assemble. The large 15 inch cut with .095 string along with the 40 volt 4 amp lithium battery and brushless motor is going to be really useful at my cottage up North. My existing trimmer is 18volt and only 13 inch cut and uses a thinner line which really can't handle the heavy growth up there. The Hart trimmer also comes with dual blades for the heavier growth. It is a bit on the heavier side, weighing just under 12 pounds but that is to be expected with the larger battery and motor. This trimmer has 6 other toools that cab used with the power head. These include a snow thrower, blower, edger, tiller, pruner and hedge trimmer. I read that it utilizes a universal attachment system so other platforms can be attached as well but I need to verify that. It comes with a 5 year warranty. I cannot wait till this spring when I head up to my cottage and put this baby to work
This Hart electric trimmer was very easy to assemble. I had never put one together before, my husband usually did this. I had no problem! All the stress points are metal making this trimmer sturdy. The Hart 40v battery is quick charging. It is compatible with other Hart tools. It comes with additional cutting string and heavy duty blades for heavier weeds-there's a separate head for these attachments. I was also impressed at how light the trimmer is. The carbon fiber shaft undoubtedly contributes to this! FYI the Hart screwdriver is NOT included. I already had it in my kitchen for quick repairs. Highly recommend.

I researched a few different electric options I was gonna go with an ego..but after seeing the prices of their batteries I quickly changed my mind so since I already have some hart tools I went with the 40v supercharge %26 man am I happy it has all the power of my old gas trimmer with none of the headache no priming no choking no pulling slap in a battery %26 go to work..%26 it has a power setting low %26 high I cut down some serious weeds with this trimmer %26 never used the high option very very satisfied really good investment..if you are looking for a affordable trimmer with great power consider this one..a added plus is that the batteries aren't 300 dollars that's what really helped me decide to get the trimmer..I highly recommend
Hart 40 volt brushless rechargeable lithium-ION battery carbon fiber shaft trimmer kit. Wow is this dual string trimmer powerful. It's winter here, so there's no grass to knock down yet. Though I have no doubt it will easily do the job with it's dual string head. 40 volt battery also works with other Hart wireless tools. Kit comes with battery and fast charger, wand with adjustable handle, adjustable 13"-15" string trimmer, grass deflector, 3 in 1 bump feed head, spool winder, .095" pre-cut line pieces and trimmer head blades. It is attachment capable (there are quite a few) and fits most bands also. Which makes this a powerful multi purpose tool. Have already ordered the tree saw which cuts apple and pine tree branches effortlessly and battery run time of six hours continuous. We really like this adaptable tool and will order more accessories this summer. Limited 5 year tool warranty and limited 3 year battery warranty.
This Hart 40V model is the strongest in the line up compared to the sister 20V version. This particular trimmer has been a nice upgrade for me from the old electric Black+Decker trimmer. The strongest selling points are the solid power, the long battery run time, the attachments and accessories selection is widely available. There is also the 5 year warranty availability. The only cons that I can think of is that the vibration is on the heavier side and the batter charger is kind of slow. But with the price range in mind for DIY, I think this is fine for homeowners!
This trimmer works very well for our lawn care needs. It was quite simple to assemble and operate. I am thrilled that I don't have an extension cord in my way as this trimmer is battery operated. The con to that is I feel that it adds a little weight to the trimmer, but in all actuality it isn't that heavy. I have used a gas operated trimmer before and this one still feels lighter with the battery. The charge lasts plenty of time to finish the job around the house. It does a nice trim job and is worthy of investing in. The length is nice and I don't feel like I have to bend over or down while using it.
Received and excited to use when the weather changes. Had a smaller brand that is good for small jobs but when Winter is over, I have some thickets in back that are harder to deal with and this has the power to do it. Was a little intimidated when opened package but instructions are simple. Put the battery on charge for overnight and sounds powerful. Excited to use when the COLD leaves
This one is vastly superior to the cheaper model. In particular the "safety" is on the trigger so you can actually control it vs the cheaper ones it's a button on the side for reasons unknown. Much lighter as well and the 2 speed settings are great. Only suggestion is for Walmart to start carrying it again instead of (potentially dishonest) 3rd parties.
