Although we are still in the winter season, I try to keep certain areas of my yard trimmed. Can't really say this is a fast charger as I forgot I put it on the charger, but it did charge my battery. Plus, it's always nice to have a 2nd charger that stays on the patio.
We have several HART products so the HART 40V 6A fast charger is perfect to have on hand. This charger definitely lives up to its name, it charges really fast. It took less than an hour to get a full charge. The charger bay has an indicator light located on it so you can see the status of the charge is. It is compatible with all HART 40V batteries so that is great if you own more than one HART product. Now we can have two batteries charging so we will be ready for all our yard work. It comes with a 3-year warranty.
My review is for the Hart 40 volt battery charger only, not the battery itself. This Hart charger comes in very handy when charging the battery for my Hart tools and yard "helpers" such as my string trimmer. The printed directions are easy to read and follow and the battery charges as stated in less than an hour. It is very simple to use and store. It provides a powerful charge, but is not big and bulky.
My husband has two Hart 40v batteries, and he uses them constantly. Although they last a long time, he would still have to charge them occasionally in the middle of doing whatever he's doing at the time. This charger has been a game changer! It charged both his batteries in less time than it took to charge one with his old charger. He is absolutely thrilled, and so am I. You can't go wrong with this charger!
Well, I haven't actually timed it but I'd swear this back up charger is faster than the original charger that came with my trimmer and blower set. It couldn't have arrived at a more perfect time because my daughter rearranged the garage and misplaced the original! My favorite feature to this charger is that it can be wall mounted and it's pretty low profile so it doesn't get bumped by accident. The led indicator let's you know when the battery is ready and also it's a nice confirmation that the battery is on the charger correctly. I usually put the battery on the charger after I'm done with my yard work so it's never completely drained but because of the aforementioned misplacement of the original this time it was and this charger got me ack on the go in like 40 minutes. Heck, the battery was ready before I was lol.

We purchased a "like new" cordless leave blower at a garage sale. No charger was included. After receiving the charger from Lowes, it truly was a "like new" yard tool!
Just as soon as we got the Hart 40 volt fast charger we used it. My husband and I both wanted to see if we had something that was low at the time. My husband got our Hart weed eater battery and started charging. It was just a little low. It took about 10 to 15 minutes to become fully charged. This time also included the warming up of the battery. Granted it wasn't real low on battery life but that was quick. That will allow me to only take a short break while the battery is charging. You can use this on any 40 volts battery. The unit has a orange light that will flash if the battery you are charging is too hot or to cold. It will continue to flash until it is the right temperature. Then the charging will begin. Then it will flash green while it is charging. Then a solid green after it is fully charged. This is a lot better than other chargers I have seen in the stores. The fact that it is fast and doesn't take hours is a great thing while working on the lawn. I highly recommend this charger. We have other Hart products and have never been disappointed so far.
This powerful little charger is very durable and sturdy. I really like the easy to read LED display that tells you if it’s charging, charged or an error. It has keyhole hangers in the back to hang on the wall so it isn’t taking up any of you work space too. Charges fast too. I would recommend this product.
displeased with product. product was plugged in for about 10 seconds and started to smoke all around it and smelled my kitchen up like something was burning. Had to call Hart to get replacement. Never even got to use the product. i really cant even give it a 1 star because it didn't work but did smoke and smell like burn.
