I have been nagging my husband since the snow melted to trim the trees / brush that hangs over the edges of the driveway because I didn't want to scratch my car. He couldn't find his regular reciprocating saw and after several weeks of looking he realized he has a cordless one he could use (ugh, men lol). He used the smallest (shortest) one because he was cutting under the canopy of the tree and he loved the way it cut! He said it was a nice clean cut even mid branch. It cuts right thru instead of the tree shaking and cuts tough dead trees with no problem. There are different length blades with all the same teeth pattern. Bottom line, he would definitely buy again and was happy to try a new brand as he's now a fan!
Great Pruning blades, not just for Hart but for any standard Reciprocating saw. Sharp and aggressive, they zip through branches as if they were soft as butter. Even the finish on these blades seems tougher than some others and I think it cuts down on friction which also helps with wear & tear on the saw motor. I highly recommend these Hart blades. Don't hesitate to buy these Hart Pruning Blades, you will not be disappointed.
Okay, so bad pun but this set of pruning and wood cutting reciprocating saw blades are proving very good. The blade I used took care of, you got it, railroad ties I had removed from an old plant bed in my yard. This was not a light start. Jumped right into the deep end with this product. I then took out trees, branches and stumps all from 3 - 6 inches in diameter. Good stuff Hart!
“I received this product for free as part of the HART Tools friends and family review program. Everything stated here is true and representative of my experience” This kit is excellent for cutting Tree branches and Hardwood this was a 3 x 3 piece of oak that I cut through The teeth on the blades are very aggressive do a great job
I live in the forest on a mountain and heat with wood. We always have a brush and small tree limb pile in the yard. This HART 5-Pack Pruning Reciprocating Blade Set makes quick work of the pile with our reciprocating saw instead of pulling out the chainsaw and worrying about oiling it and lugging it around. This is my new way to deal with brush and small limbs.
I got these just in time . I had a big wind here and it broke a tree limb. I had to chop it up. These worked great for the small to medium limbs 3/4 to 2 inches or so. I also used on my Locust trees which need pruning every other year or so. They work great with my existing sawzall. The different lengths make it easy to get where you need to get. Highly recommend.
These pruning saw blades are ok they are not very sharp like the average saw blades. One thing that I like about this blade it is very thick and well made. It cuts decently but not very fast. Overall this blade get the job done.
This is what I would call a “middle-of-the-road” product. If you're a homeowner looking to clean up the yard or work on home projects I would recommend these blades based on the price. They do a good enough job. For the pros, I would advise to invest in something a little more up to the job. I used my wood cutting and pruning blades to clean up the yard a bit and cut up a small felled tree for firewood. So, if you're just running out to the store to pick up a few things and need some blades for a small to medium project these should do the trick.
These reciprocating saw blades look to be very simple, and not hardened. Yet they kept a reasonable sharpness after use. A good value for pruning blades.
I got these blades in hopes of cleaning up some shooting lanes for deer season. I decided to try one out before taking it to the woods. As you can see from the pictures there is paint on the sapling I cut and still plenty of paint on the blade. While cutting the sapling I could tell it was slower cutting than the pruning blades I have used in the recent past. I stopped and checked the blade and it felt tacky from where the paint was coming off and slowing the cut down. I think these blades would be great if Hart left off about all of the paint. Paint your name on the tip end of the blade so the rest of the blade can do its job. Just too much paint on a good blade.
