I started woodworking as a side hustle mid summer 2021. I've been working on different projects that needed counter-sunk screws. The price was decent. Will these hold up long term on a regular basis, like 3-5 years? Probably not. Are they good for the weekend DIYer who uses them once or twice a month? Then these will be great! I have only used these on soft woods. I haven't been able to try them on hardwoods like oak, cherry or walnut. But long term use on hardwoods will eat these up. These will be GREAT for weekend warrior crafters or DIYers who use them on softer woods like pine, poplar or spruce. Please..PLEASE.. watch some videos on how to use the clutch settings on your cordless drill so you don't overdrive your drill bits and cam out your screw heads. It will save you time and money. Each bit is ¼" shank, so these will work in ANY drill. Each bit is marked making it easier FYI identify. My advice is to put these in an old pill bottle or similar container and keep separate from other tools and bits to keep them from getting knocked around to help keep them sharp. The longer they stay sharp the longer they'll serve you. If you want something that will serve you longer term, say 5-10 years , then look at something from Dewalt, Makita or Milwaukee but be prepared to dish out more money. Those are solid investments. Only YOU know how much you'll use these, how you'll use these and what kind of materials you'll use these on. So to boil it all down I'd give these 4 out of 5. Best wishes on your future projects and I hope that this review helps you out. God Bless!
Perfect for the job I was doing.
works well with little the hart rechargable screwdriver i bought
I had an other brands countersink bits and felt the bore dulled quickly. Bought this set and I am really pleased. Bore is sharp and drill bits adjustable. I use them often when I make DIY planter boxes for friends and family and they're my go to set when I need to countersink a screw. Very pleased and I would definitely buy again.
Drills and countersink in one shot makes work fast and easy.
Selected specific item, item available %26 ready for pickup.
Decent mixed set for occasional use but not for the serious woodworker for daily use.
I have not tried them yet as the Heart power drill shuts off if it is under any stress. But should be made as well as the drill and bit set. I hope.
The counter sink bores are duller than a butter knife.
Horrible!! One of the bit's broke ALREADY!! Cheap bits. Do not buy these!!
