Pack of 6 standard size hot glue sticks 10” long. Worked great for making paper flowers, even with heavier paper. Heated up perfectly in my glue gun and wasn't too runny.
It was only relatively recently that I discovered that there is significant undocumented variation in hot glue sticks. In addition to variation in temperature, there are huge differences in the bond strengths of different brands of them. This is particularly important to me, as I primarily use my glue sticks for utility purposes around the shop/etc. rather than for arts and crafts things. Luckily, I can confirm that these are pretty decent! I didn't do any extensive comparison testing in this case, but I do know these did not present me with any problems at all, and may actually be better than average. In one case, when gluing plastic-to-plastic I didn't even prep the plastic with light sanding to help it adhere. Amazingly, it still held on pretty strong (though could still be peeled off easier than if I had sanded.) Most of my hot glue work is with plastic and metal. I also use it for temporary bonds when building jigs, since the cure time is so short and it's relatively easily removable. One feature of note is that these are very long! Measuring a full 10 inches, you can see from the photo how far they stick out of a standard size hot glue gun. This could be a [very minor] pro or con, depending on your use case. On the one hand, they will last far longer for heavy users of glue. On the other, the length that sticks out when new sticks are inserted could be slightly annoying if working in tight quarters. Of course, if it bothers you too badly, you can always just chop them in half. Overall, these are a pretty good pick. In fact, when I need to buy glue sticks locally in the future, I will probably choose these, since I know they provide pretty strong adhesion for a good value.
These work great! I love the fact that they are 10 inches and last a long time vs changing out shorter sticks more often. These offer very smooth operation.
Perfect fit 2/my HART Glue Gun
I'm becoming a fan of Hart because of the quality of their products. I own a Hart Hot Glue Gun and these Hot Glue Sticks work so well. The heat up takes a few minutes, but then your gun and glue are ready to go. The glue melts evenly and easily and quickly releases from the gun. These are not your normal craft glue sticks because of the amount of glue that comes out and the power behind it. I was using the glue for a project in the garage where I was gluing panels on the wall for decor. The glue dried clear which allows for some forgiveness and then just scrape away and extra glue when dry. The size of the glue stick also allows for long use with them being a full 10 inches.
Love these extra long hot glue sticks. Works great in my Stanley hot glue gun. Great for my gluing crafts and any school projects we are doing. Don't need to constantly refill and use. Just wish there were larger packages of them. Highly recommend them!
These are good glue sticks for whatever you may need them for. I used them to make a spring wreath of tulips and I was pleased. They melt nicely with a full sized glue gun and they have a strong hold and quick dry. The tulips on my wreath hold well despite being jarred over and over by the door opening and closing. I have included pictures to show a close up of the label and the gun and wreath I used them for.
This glue sticks are pretty different than any I have ever used before. I really like them. They are a good size around. They are also very long. I really like that they are bigger because it makes it easier on the user by not having to change the glue sticks very often. The sticks fit right into the gun. The gun grips them well and they move through easily. They melt down very hot. We used the glue on a dog collar we had to fix and on some stripping that was coming apart. We have had no problems with how the glue is holding at all. I am extremely impressed on how it holds together the dog collar. It is super strong. The glue came out of the gun at a good rate and I didn't lose any to strings or dripping from the gun. This is the only type of glue sticks I'll be using from now on. They really made a huge difference in my projects and they are truly that much better.
I used these glue sticks for some bigger projects around the house like hanging blackout blinds and even making no sew valances. The glue is holding up very nicely with no sign of falling or failing. I used it on fabric, wall paint, and paper and it held tightly. It made my projects effortless and quick. I'm glad I gave these 10 inch glue sticks a try. I use glue sticks a lot and these large ones last quite a while before I need to add a new one to the glue-gun. Great for crafting!
The Hart glue sticks come with 6 in the pack and heat up great! They are long in length and fit into the Hart battery operated glue gun that I use and own! I think they are the only brand I would trust and use. They really last a long amount of time and you can use one stick forever! I love crafting and I really can't make it without a reliable glue gun and glue sticks! Just remember that these heat up really good so be very careful. Everyone loves a good glue gun and if you're looking for the perfect glue sticks then Hart 10- inch full sized glue sticks is the way to go!
