These HART 8-inch Multifunction Linesman Pliers are well made and sturdy. These pliers can do wire stripping, cut small bolts, cut wires and much more. I would definitely recommend these for your work place or toolbox.

Linesman pliers are pretty versatile to begin with and this one has some extra features built in like the wire stripper. I had to do some electrical work recently and found that with this tool you can cut bolts and cut wire fairly easy and accurately. This is a well built and solid tool to have as part of any tool box.
The HART 8-inch Multifunction Linesman Pliers are very comfortable to use. The pliers have good heft without being too heavy so you can feel the work. The pliers strip 10-18 AWG wire, cut wire, and cut 6-32 and 8-32 bolts, It also has a spanner. The pliers are very versatile indeed! I would recommend this to a friend.

Having one tool that can take care of multiple needs is a huge plus, saves space and allows you to handle DIY projects around the house without having to carry around a collection of tools to get the job done!
HART 8-inch Multifunction Linesman Pliers with Comfort Grips, Chrome Vanadium finish made this so much easier while installing all the new switches, lights and outlets in my family room rewire, easier wire stripping to install the wire, great teeth for wire gripping and excellent handle grips made them no slip while using them and the wire strip was so much easier with the proper tool, I would definitely recommend these to anyone that does electrical work at home or any electricians out there, made it all much easier to complete.
This tool is now my new favorite. They are very sturdy and very sharp. They are made well. I love the comfort grip it keeps them from skidding in my hand..
Linesman pliers are used by electricians for working with electrical wires. These specialty pliers have the typical cutting jaws for cutting hard wires and horizontal teeth at the nose for gripping, twisting and bending wires. They also have specific holes for stripping 10 to 16 AWG wires and two holes for cutting 6-32 and 8-32 bolts. These Hart multifunction pliers are bigger than normal pliers but are on the smaller size for a linesman pliers at 8 inches long and weighting .75 lbs. The handle is coated with dipped plastic which Hart referred to as comfort grips. I would prefer to have the feel of a softer and thicker grip when I have to squeeze hard with my bare hand. However, wearing working gloves may be a good idea as some of the outside edges of these pliers are really sharp. These Hart linesman pliers are above average in quality but I did not like the feel of the handle and the sharp outside edges so I can't recommend them.
