The HART - 8.5 Gallon Heavy Duty Stackable Plastic Utility Crate is pretty much exactly what I was looking for to store my battery operated tools. Other storage containers I seen seem to be too large or too small for my needs. This container is heavy duty, has easy grip side handles and will stack with other Hart 8.5 gallon crates. Dimensions are 9.9 D x14.6 W x 18.4 H.
I received the HART - 8.5 Gallon Heavy Duty Stackable Plastic Utility Crate in the color Blue in exchange for this review. The one I received is 8.5 gallon and it measures 18.4" W x 14.6" D x 9.9" H but only weighs 3.5 pounds so it’s a great size for many types of storage. They securely stack on top of themselves to make storing them even easier. They are made of very solid heavy duty reinforced plastic resin. Perfect for storing heavy tools, having two comfort grip cut outs for handles. There are no holes in the bottom or sides like some of these crates have so you won’t lose any tools or other small items. They would work great in utility vehicle, garage or shed for tools, cleaning supplies, heavy enough for paint supplies or great for any household storage of toys or extra supplies. Would also work in car hatch or trunk to keep any extra items contained and not rolling around. Being so sturdy there really are so many things you can use them for. Definitely won’t be disappointed with this purchase. Plus you’ll be happy to know that they are made in 🇺🇸 USA. Perfect
This large crate is great for organizing your stuff. It is easy to carry and hose out when messy. I've used one for gardening supplies and have another in the garage. The crates are stackable, and fit nicely on shelving. The crate has angled corners and comfortable handles. The crate is made in the USA out of recycled plastic. You will want many of these crates for your organizing needs.
I really do like this crate. It came in handy for our record collection. Multiple uses for these. You can also use it to put your pets toys in, children's toys, etc. Some many functional uses.Stackable which is a plus. Much more sturdier than regular crates
I was using a cardboard box to organize my cleaning supplies. This amazing utility cart has cleaned that mess up with room to spare. It has an 8.5 gallon capacity, so it is a large-sized crate to fit quite a bit of items. It is built extremely solid, with easy carry handles. It came with no flaws, and I love the octagon corners better than the square ones. It’s made in the USA, made with recycled plastic, which is the icing on the cake for me. We have a few tools made by hart, all which have been very useful and reliable. You honestly can’t go wrong with this utility cart- the uses are endless. I highly recommend this Hart utility cart for your storing needs!
The Hart - 8.5 Gallon Heavy Duty Stackable Plastic Utility Crate is a very sturdy crate that can be used for so many different things! My husband has one in the garage and this one I use in my office for storing computer components, drives, cables, discs, and such. The entire plastic utility crate is solid hard plastic so nothing can fall out of the sides. The same is true if you have liquids in it; they won’t spill in your car so if you wanted to keep it in your trunk as an emergency box, you could keep windshield washer solution, radiator fluid, power steering fluid, gas additives, along with tools and your jumper cables and keep everything in one large utility crate without having to worry about losing things or waste time searching for things. From the pictures, you can tell that the utility crate is long as well as deep so it will hold a lot of things in it. The handles are solid plastic formed in the crate itself, not separate handles that can break. These handles are formed in the plastic crate. On the inside of the handle, there are grips for your hands which makes it easier to carry. The crate is very well constructed. You will not have to worry about this heavy-duty stackable plastic utility crate ever cracking and breaking under normal conditions. If you drop it off the top of a building there are no guarantees; but every day typical use, this crate will last forever.
Back in the day we used "found" milk crates to carry things around. The problem with those were the openings in the bottom and sides. These crates solve that issue. Easy to carry with wider handles. Stackable and a stack of them stay pretty steady. Big enough for multiple tools.
Heavy duty, nice quality. Big handles, easy to move and stack. Will be great to tote heavy items in. Will order more. Very similar to what the shoppers take out your items in for grocery pickup, just smaller. Great for keeping items in car and moving them back and forth.
This plastic crate is very strong with a solid bottom and the handles are wide for a good grip. I put a bunch of spray paint cans in it and the bottom didn't bow which most will along with the handles not cutting into your hands it's one nice crate! The size is just right too!
Crate %231 had two defects: a bulge in the exterior bottom level below one of the handles (IMG_4585.jpg) and both opposite sides of had dented corners (IMG_4584.jpg). Crate %232 had one defect: a white stress area along the bottom edge of one of the sides(IMG_4587.jpg). If you are just going to store some used tools and only need to stack 2 crates then the damaged crates maybe fine. I plan on stacking them and would need them to be of better quality. Check store if you need to eyeball the crates. The undamaged crates seem very sturdy. Delivery of 7 total crates on 8-28-23 just after noon hour began.
