I was very surprised by the quality of this Rachet. It feels very nice in my hand. Works exactly as it should. It's definitely heavy duty. It came packaged very nicely. I will be buying Hart products from now on. The quality of this tool has sold me on the name brand. I've had several other big brand rachets that either strip out or break all together. This rachet seems to be much better quality. I look forward to purchasing the socket sets to go with it.

HART 1/2 DRIVE RATCHET The Ratchet arrived well packaged. I'm really pleased with how well made it is. It has a good weight to it. I believe it will provide many years of good service. This is a 90 tooth ratchet. That makes it very strong. I have several 1/2 inch extensions and many sets of 1/2 inch sockets. This drive has worked well with all of them. I'll just be using it for personal use around the house and on my vehicles. Back in the day, when I had an auto repair shop, I would have been happy to have this ratchet in the shop. Anyone, rather for personal use or shop use, would do well to purchase this ratchet. I highly recommend it.
As soon as you pick this up you know you have a real tool in your hand. If I had a complaint and I don't but I could wish all 1/2" drive ratchets just a few inches longer. This one has a good smooth grip and a smooth action. Switching directions is simple and won't happen accidentally as it locks with the slightest pressure. The 90 tooth gives the ability to work in tight places where you have minimum movement, this is also where more length would help. I am glad to have this tool in my tool chest.
Hart is such a great brand. This ratchet is strong and very durable. It is also heavy but easy to handle. The weight of it doesn't affect the use and mobility. This rachet is 1/2". It also is a 90 tooth rachet. It did a great job of helping me work on my truck. I had no issues with getting any of the nuts off. After using this tool I feel like I have a new tool brand that has become my favorite. Overall, I am super impressed and can proudly say I would recommend this tool plus brand to people.

This tool was well built, feels heavy in the hand and has power in the torque mechanism. I needed this tool to replace a broken one and this ratchet fits my needs. I recommend it to anyone who needs a heavy duty ratchet for multi purposes on a daily basis wether mechanic, plumber or whatnot. A very useful and handy tool to have.
This 1/2 inch ratchet is just what my husband needed to remove his lugnuts/bolts off his Honda tires! This Hart ratchet has top quality to it, from the nice heavy weight of it, to the smooth clicking of the gears in it. Feels really solid and amazing in your hand. My husband and I agree, its quality is comparable to the pricy ones you can get of the tool trucks. Very, very satisfied with this Hart ratchet. Would highly recommend!

Before we start reviewing this item, we must state that in the paragraph with the heading about this item it states that the item has a rubber handle, which is incorrect for this particular item. It has a chrome plated body and handle. Mistake on the MFG part. This Hart Ratchet is very comfortable to use, and fits well in your hand has a chrome plated finish, which is very durable and rust resistant, which is good. It has a 90-Tooth ratchet head. Instead of a standard 72-Tooth. It's 4 degree arc swing also makes it very easy to work in very tight spaces where you can't swing the handle because of obstructions. Which helps you complete your task faster, which is great. It is lightweight at 1.42 lbs. It comes with a limited lifetime warranty and my husband feels this item is a very high quality item and is looking forward to using it on all his automotive and house projects. My Husband absolutely recommends this Hart Ratchet, to anyone looking for this kind of Ratchet, my husband says that this Ratchet and the quality is a great value, he is very pleased with it.
Xmas gift so can't give real evaluation of it. Superficially it looks to be good quality and should do what it is used for, only time will tell if it is.
