Everything stated here is true and representative of my experience. I took this burr to work with me the other day to test out. Working on some 1/2" steel holes, I was able to easily wide the hole using this burr. I have not noticed any wear down quite yet, but can only imagine with it being HART, it will last a while!

I just started carving so having new bits like this definitely ups my level. Although I only use it for wood, it says it also can be used for plastic or metal.When getting these things, It's just a reason to use my rotary tool lol definitely would recommend trying it out.

Your choice of the 4V 5-Speed Rotary Tool, a 20V Rotary Tool Kit, or 1.0 Amp 2-Speed Rotary Tool.. ALL GREAT HART PRODUCTS!! They truly speak for themselves.. Their only as good as their Accessories though.. and let me be the first to say.. These HART rotary Bits (ALL Accessories) speak for themselves.. They hold the demand for a heavy workload. This Flat End Burr works specifically on glass, metal and wood. With a Max RPM of 35K, thats more than enough to get the job done! I etched some test runs on wood and metal that I had laying around and I was very proud of myself! Great to tinker with! I highly suggest these bits and all various Rotary tools and accessories. Cut all around through a 2 inch- diameter steel pipe. Worked wonderfully well, though took some time to get through the pipe. If using a hacksaw isn't an option, this might be a good option. removes steel well enough, and wears slowly. its like a tiny cnc mill-bit for your drill.
