It's Craft Time! I have my HART Light Duty Staple Gun, and I've got the JT21 staples to go with it. Easy Set-Up: 1. Turn over. It loads from the bottom. 2. Hold and squeeze the two blue plastic tabs together to free the pusher rod. Pull to open. 3. Fit the empty track with a line of staples. Remember to have the points facing up. 4. Push close. You'll need to hold and squeeze the blue tabs again to lock the rod into place. Use and Care: 1. Put on safety glasses. 2. Grip and firmly press the handle down until a staple is released. I practiced "stitching" straight lines with evenly-spaced staples. Use a separate block of wood. 3. My first Staple Gun Project - To stretch duck canvas over a new wood frame. 4. I did this by tacking down my canvas to a rectangle of wood and bridging the mitered corners. To Finish: Take out the staples and slip on the built-in safety latch. You can replace them when done. Hart's Staple Gun worked well with a variety of woods. Flush mounts, and no kickbacks. It was easy to lock and load and very easy to handle.
I find this Staple Gun very well made with quality parts for a long life of use. I like the fact that the trigger has a very easy and smooth pull to it Filling the gun with staples is very easy and simple along with a window to see when you are getting close to adding more staples. For your everyday use, this Staple gun is very good and is rather lightweight to hold. It has done everything I need it to do so far and I can not find anything bad about it at this point. I most highly recommend this product.
very nice staple gun, it is light weight and comfortable to use. i like the fat that this gun holds 3 different sizes of staples which is wonderful as with my last gun i had to keep playing the guessing game when i went to buy more staples i could never remember what size i needed on my old gun. i added a photo for you to see the sizes it takes showing you on the gun which is helpful. im glad i chose to upgrade with this one. loading the gun was easy and it pressed easy and went in easy for my project. very happy with my new toy lol yes i recommend this stapler gun . i have lots of projects i do so this will be great.
Let me start by saying that this is my first experience using a staple gun in my life. My husband is recovering from injuries and has been unable to keep up with household tasks and fixing things. I got this staple gun with a specific task in mind, but also plan on using it in the future for other tasks that may arise with owning our first home. When we moved in 2 years ago we bought a brand new dining table with four matching chairs. Well just recently I started noticing that the cloth lining under the chairs is coming loose. Cloth is hanging down here and there under the chairs and it looked horrible. So I decided to try the HART Light Duty Chrome Staple Gun. I bought my staples and loaded them at the bottom as directed. I flipped each chair up and proceeded to fix and reinforce the lining under the chairs. This staple gun worked like a charm. For someone who has never used one before, it was quite easy, actually much simpler than I anticipated. The handle is easy to grip, easy to press, and works accurately. I like the fact that it holds different size staples giving me a few options depending on the job. I was happy with how quick and efficiently it got the job done. It really is not all that heavy to hold. The staples went in perfectly for a secure mend. I really only have great things to say about this new tool. It works very well and I had no issues with it whatsoever. Great product!
This HART Light Duty Chrome Staple Gun is well made and feels sturdy. It is not bulky, and comfortable to handle. It doesn't feel flimsy, but durable and can do a multiple of projects around the house. As a do it yourselfer, craft, and handy person, this is great to keep in my tool box. The staples are easy to load and it has a nice heavy duty handle you pull on to attach the staples where you want them. I used it to reupholster the cushion on one of my chairs in my dining room. It went through wood just fine. It had enough power to push through the material as well. It is great for hanging up pictures, papers, and posters on the bulletin board as well. I have even used it to staple up plastic temporarily when painting one of my rooms. I like that it is very versatile and good quality. I would recommend it.
Great! This stapler was very impressive. I wasn't sure if it would stand up as well as the name brand ones but I was very surprised that it performed as well as any name brand stapler of which I have owned a few over the years. It is made of heavy gauge steel and has a powerful hammering action to push the staples into many materials including different woods. It also uses staples for the name brand staplers. Would definitely recommend.
Excellent staple gun by Hart that is well designed, well built, good quality and easy to use. Simple to load and allows for one handed use with leverage. Perfect for any light duty stapling on furniture, upholstery, making yard signs, arts & crafts, screen doors, etc. Takes staples 1/4", 5/16", & 3/8". A good value that will get the stapling job done with ease.
This is an item you don't know you need...until you have it! You don't need to be an upholsterer to use a staple gun, this is a simpler version for us lesser trained skillsets, great for decorating when normal staples don't do.
I have about seven or eight kinds of staples on hand and none of them fit this gun, so it took me a little while to get some. They were out of stock at some of the places I looked, but Walmart had them, and at the best price that I've seen. My local Walmart had all three sizes in stock. This tool is smaller than my heavy-duty staple guns, as is to be expected. One of the first things I noticed is that there is no well-drfined notch at the front where the staple comes out. Those notches are rather handy when doing chores such as putting up Christmas lights along the roof line because when the wire is in the notch there is little danger of stapling through the wire. Since the maximum length of the staples it uses is only 3/8", I guess they are not expecting it to be used for this. It will also use 1/4" and 5/16" staples. The lengths of staples is permanently cast into the side of the gun, however the brand and model number of the staples is on a sticker. I would have liked to have seen it permanent also. The latch for releasing the spring mechanism to load the gun with staples is plastic and different from all of the other staple guns I've used. It may turn out to be easier to use than the usual kind, but I have some doubts about it's longivity because it is made of plastic. When you load the staples you can't just push it shut--you have to squeeze the lever to get it to latch. The action on this stapler is very smooth and it easily penetrates wood etc. and fires flush without much effort. If you already own a heavy-duty staple gun this might be a good addition for smaller jobs, however if I was to only own one gun I would get one that will accomodate staples up to at least 9/16" in length.
This staple gun is good for light duty projects like crafts or tacking on the backboard to a build it yourself cabinet in a box. It will only take 1/4, 5/16 & 3/8 inch staples. If you try to load anything bigger it won't slide shut. When loading the staples you pinch the blue plastic tab together and the tray slides right out. Very useful and built for my small hands.
