For the price, it's well worth having for any tree trimming. Got it delivered same day with Walmart . Was using it later that afternoon. Couldn't have asked for more.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a new addition to my Hart yard tool. Always wanted to buy this to trim over growing branches from my big trees. Attaches well to my Hart cordless shaft. Pole attachment was long enough to reach up high. A little bit heavy and awkward to hold at first but got use to it as go with my pruning. Cut well with minimal to no choking. It comes with a tool to open up to adjust or for maintenance. It even comes with the 8 oz chain oil. So far I'm very happy with my purchases. My only complaint is the instructions, it's a little bit confusing especially where I'm going to attach the strap and also you have to make sure that you tighten the attachment screw because it loosen the hold at times. Overall, It's functioning as intended ( see the photo of the branches I cut).
it fit my husquarvana weedeater as an attachment. it is ling and alittle wobbly but it did the job. however i also used and electric pole saw and a battery powered one and the last two did fine and were easier t use. lighter for sure.
Product works great. Chain is sharp and cuts well. Only 3 stars because the bar oil tank was cracked either upon arrival or with the first use. Didnt notice it until i went to refill the oil. Hopefully the warranty and the extra protection plan i purchased will cover it.
Batteries are dead %26 won't charge!!! Will never buy this brand again
I opened this up today after receiving it on June 22nd. When I went to assemble the unit (attach it to the trimmer base), I put the oil in the oil tank and it started leaking immediately. I looked and there is a crack in the tank close to the screw hole where it is attached. I am going to try to exchange it at one of my local stores. Hopefully it will not be a hassle.
Disabled vet, couldn't afford to pay someone to clip my tree branches so I got this saw to do it myself. The reviews about the oil reservoir are true. First fill, immediately started leaking all over the pole. I am very disappointed, the amount of money spent on the weed eater and the attachment was almost as much as getting someone to do it for me. The oil leaked all over my porch. Wouldn't cut through a stick of butter, buyer beware.
