This is one of several Hart 40v cordless tools that I have just purchased. Because of the other Hart 40v cordless tools that I have I knew that the hedge trimmer would be just as good as everything else that Hart sells and I wasn't wrong. It attaches to the Hart power head that came with the string trimmer and because of that I only need 1 battery that operates any and all Hart 40v tools and attachments. I used this trimmer earlier today to trim some small tree branches and rose bushes and it worked excellent. Compared to my corded hedge trimmer this cordless one is so much easier to use that I doubt I will ever use the corded one again. From now on any lawn and garden equipment that I need is going to be a Hart 40v attachment. I have a fairly new gas lawn mower but when it wears out I know for sure that I am going to buy the Hart 40v self propelled lawn mower and I'm sure that it will be just as good as all of the other Hart tools, plus I won't have to worry about gas or oil.
I received the Hart Powerfit Hedge Trimmer Attachment as part of Walmart's Spark Reviewer Program. This hedger attaches to a universal trimmer. I attached it to my Hart gas powered trimmer. It was easy to attach. It snaps on and you tighten the screw. Since it is high speed it really cuts quickly and cleanly. I used it to trim down bushes at the side of my home. It made the job very easy. I need to work on my trimming skills to get a neater look. I do recommend wearing earmuffs and eyewear for protection. If you want an easy way to maintain your yard. This hedger is the way to go.
To be honest, I have been looking at a set of electric yard tools for quite some time! My biggest drawback was the fact that I have a pretty big yard and did not want to deal with dead batteries all the time! We do not have many hedges on our property, but I figured I would at least give this a try as we are thinking about adding more. I really like the product. The hardest thing to get used to is the size. It is pretty tough to handle for my wife, and it took some practice for me. What I like about it, is that it made some hard to reach places a lot easier. I actually used this trim some low hanging branches off my tree as well! I hope HART will make a pole saw attachment for my trees! I have the HART weed eater, edger, and tiller. I have been equally impressed with the performance of all of these products. I hope that these products will last quite a while. The battery life, I'm sure will go a long way with the hedger, but I cannot give an accurate description as we only have 3 things I used it on. I will say the battery lasts quite a while with the edger and weed eater, so I do not have a lot of doubts with the hedger. The attachment goes on easy and the whole product feels solid when you are using it! Great job HART!
Adding this Hedge attachment to the cordless trimmer makes the reach on this tool Great! I was squeezing between the house and my hedges to trim them, but now I can reach the back of the hedge from the front... this tool has made trimming the hedges fun instead of a chore. The easy hang cap on the pole makes storage a snap. I appreciate the blade cover because those blades are sharp.

This means that you can swap tools fitting one tool with another, even if the tools are made by different manufacturers and whether gas or electric powered! This is a wonderful feature for the homeowner! This Hart Hedge trimmer was tested with a Hart 40V power head that shipped with the Hart 40V trimmer, a battery powered string trimmer. The trimmer was tested on a Gardenia bush that was heavily overgrown with vines and in dire need of trimming. This was a bit of work and required about 5 minutes to deal with the bush. Mostly I used the hedge trimmer in a vertical motion to remove the vines. And the power head was not at full charge before starting. My overall impression of this Hedge trimmer is that it is GREAT attachment and especially since it can be used with the Hart power head or a gas powered power head. This Hedge trimmer is backed by a 3 year warranty – how can you go wrong? I recommend this product and give it ***** (5) stars.
The Hart Powerfit Hedge attachment attaches to the Hart Trimmer within minutes. It is one of many interchangeable add ons to the Hart 40V Trimmer. The 17.5" length along with the length of the trimmer make this a wide sweeping hedger that cut our time in half. The hedger comes with a shield to protect the attachment when not in use. It has an interchangeable hanger to allow for easy storage. This attachment cut through our hedges with ease. It is heavy and the trimmer is heavy but the power behind these tools is impressive.
The Hart PowerFit Hedge Trimmer attachment is a terrific addition to the tools in my shed. It can attach to almost any trimmer. I attached it to my Hart edger. It was easy to attach and remove when finished. The blades is 17.5 inches long and with the additional length of the unit, it is very easy to reach difficult spots. The blades are double sided, so you can easily swipe back and forth to cut through the hedges. It literally took me half the time it usually would to trim all of the hedges in my yard. I love this!! Also, it comes with a sheath to cover the blades when not in use.
This is a good trimmer to cut the hedge that i had in front of my yard that i been wanting to get rid of and now with this i was able to finally trim it and give me more parking space. Also easy to use. I'm starting to like this brand hart. I already own a couple of other items with this brand and everything works great

I love the weedeater already but now I can throw all my hedge trimmers away because this thing works perfect. I will be buying more Hart products.
