This is very nice for that modular Hart toolbox cart set up. I bought one at Walmart, but the top unit has these cup like compartments with a clear lid and I didn't find it super useful until I seen this unit that I could add and lock into my existing toolbox from this company, and it made it really helpful and the organizers are really nice and modifiable. Very good buy!
So many "organizers" are out in the market but few are made as well as this one. I have always had a problem with so many small, rinky-dink objects (that I use frequently) cluttering up my house and workspaces. This organizer is perfect for my needs and I couldn't be more happy in owning it. This organizer comes with three pull out trays which are rigid and have two clasps on both sides of tray to keep it shut. Each tray also has a carrying handle. The pictures I am showing do not do justice to how beneficial this organizer has been to my everyday life. The great part is that this is a stackable unit meaning that I can purchase more of these organizers and they will stack neatly on top of each other. Great product and will make a great gift for my son-in-law also.
I needed something to organize my parts and decided to try the Hart Stack System Small Parts 3 Organizer. This organizer comes with three trays and additional dividers for more compartments giving a total of 18 compartments per tray. The Hart Stack system is made very well and seems very durable. There is a locking plastic bar on the front to hold the trays in. The handle to carry the organizer is heavy duty, feels solid and is well balanced when picking up by the handle. I have been purchasing products from the Hart line for some time now as I feel they are just as good as the name brands. You cant go wrong with this Hart organizer.
This is one handy tool box or parts organizer or storage. It stands alone by itself, or you can add it to other Hart modular components, including wheels and handles. This particular componet consists of three removable drawers in a carry frame with a folding handle. Each drawer has several adjustable-size bins - some fixed in size and some with relocatable or removable partitions. The carry frane has a lockable hasp to secure your items. This would ideal for many active do-it-yourself-ers or company technicians who often have to travel to a jobsite. It is a well thought-out design, and well made.
To put it bluntly, I am an organization freak. Anytime I can find something to organize tools, toys, crafts, or anything else you can think of I will jump right on it. I have recently been adding to my Hart collection of products (chemical sprayer, vacuum, tape measure, etc.). The organizer unit is very study and feels well put together. I started off with this 3 part organizer with intentions to expand the cart system. The organizer does have a good locking mechanism with its locking strip to keep the three containers fasten within the overall organizer. You will not have any issues of containers falling out of the organizer. The containers have 8 prefab organization compartments in the middle with same amount of space of those 8 on both sides that are open. There are dividers that you can utilize on the total of 16 customizable compartments combined on the sides to make them just like the middle ones or bigger. There is a handle on top of the organizer that folds down if you are trying to stack them on the cart or in general stacking. The handle is useful for my current scenario because that is how I will transport this organizer around.
If you're looking for sturdy but lightweight- this is it. By the way, I mean lightweight compared to the steel boxes. It is fairly heavy and you instantly see the density of the plastic by the weight of the box. The actual plastic feels durable and will probably last for a while. Each plastic bin can slide out independently (they're not laying one on top of the other). There are slots between them all so that you can keep things organized and slide out each bin separately. The box has a notch lock so that you can turn it and keep all the bins from sliding out. There is also a whole to insert a lock if you wish. The handle (at the top) is very sturdy. I tried to manhandle it out of place and I didn't. Also, there are two slots on the side to give you the ability to lift the box from the side instead of using the handle in case that way would be more comfortable to move the box around. I do want to mention that this unit has other addons that you can purchase to make a set. Overall, this is a great box. Personally I'm thinking of using it with fishing items, but this would be great for tools/hardware, craft supplies and many other types of uses.
The three piece organizer Set. The three storage trays are all identical. Each contains eight small fixed size compartments in the center with two larger compartments, one on each side with 8 blue plastic dividers that can be snapped in to create up to 10 more compartments. The blue dividers snap in easily and stay put. You don't need to worry about them falling out. There are no removable trays in the compartments though, as some have. The latches on the trays open and close easily. There are built in handles in each tray and also in the storage box. The storage box handle folds down and locks in place to allow for stacking as this is part of a modular stacking storage system. The material seems fairly durable and should hold up well over years of use as long as they are not abused. The modular stacking feature is a nice feature as is the portability. I think it is best suited for smaller lighter parts though as you can see you it can fit larger heavier tools and hardware.
My workshop accumulates a lot of spare parts. This organizer helps to find a place to put it all. Each of the three layers has up to 18 compartments. The ones on the sides can be divided or left open for longer items. The only thing I would have liked it that some of the smaller compartments could have been subdivided for truly small items. All in all, it's a very convenient way to store a lot of small items.
My wife is using this for her crafting supplies. It is sturdy enough for what she needs, but I wouldn't put heavy items in it. Heavy being an organizer for nuts/bolts, weights, etc.. That would be too much weight. Pro's: Good size. Lot's of storage. Portable. Con's: Not for heavy storage needs. (If that is really a con).
The material of the item is decent but it was shipped in a plastic bag with no packaging and broken when it arrived at my house. I'm going through the hassle of getting a replacement, but there's a good chance the replacement will be broken as well. if you are on the fence either try to find one in store or look for something else.
