I bought this game for my five year old granddaughter. She loved the game! She especially liked all the sounds as she played the game. It was a real hit!!
I bought this for my granddaughter for Christmas, we haven't opened it or played it. It came in a reasonable time and was packaged well. She loves playing the original Operation game so I am assuming this one will be just as loved
My son loves this silly toy. We all get a chuckle when it makes a tooting noise! Haha Fun practicing fine motor skills while maneuvering the piece of food through the dog. Highly recommend!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Operation Pet Scan is a more updated version of the original game. The game board sits on a tilt. Each player takes a turn using the magnetic wand to weave through the dog and out the butt without dropping it. My kids and I have a blast every time we play.
This is nothing like the original Operation game. The goal is to try and help move the food through the dog's stomach without causing his nose to light up and buzz! Spoiler alert!Touching the sides of his stomach does not cause the buzzer to go off, but the tool magnet to separate from the object you're moving causes it. It also makes gas noises if that offends you, this may not be the game for you. The pieces are small and a definate choking hazard probably why it says 6 and up. My older toddlers love it. only gave it 4 stars since it is so simple and basic.
This game is affordable and very cute. I purchased it for my 4 yr old granddaughter and we have so much fun every time we play it together! Its just the right amount of challenge to keep everyone asking to play it again. Perseverance wins the game! And along the way you will be laughing at all the funny sounds this pup makes due to all the funny things this pet eats.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really cute for younger children. I ordered this online and didnt read about the game. If that is you, keep in mind this game is not the traditional game of Operation. This game uses magnets and small, nickle size magnet pieces. You drop a small piece into the dogs mouth and use the magnetic wand to guide the piece through the belly and out the bottom. If you lose the piece throughout the colon, it drops to the bottom and it's the next players turn. My two children really enjoy this game. When you make the piece through the colon, it is almost impossible for the white piece to drop as the wand and playing piece have strong magnets. Overall, I would recommend this game to anybody with children.
The product is good but the entire transaction was a mess.
I thought my son would love this game. But, he was bored in 5 mins. Pieces slide out two different spots and its nothing like the original game of skill. Disappointed in this game! There is no where to store all the loose pieces either. Played twice and now it just sits in our closet.
not worth the buy. it's not like the operation game at all. You're taking a magnetic pointer and moving magnetic pieces from the mouth, through the intestines and out the butt, all behind a plastic. Gross concept, my girls hate it. Also, the box was struggling by the time I received it.
