My 12 year old daugher LOVES to play this game with her friends! They have a blast and she tells me it is great fun!
We played this with our 15 yr old and 9 yr old and had alot of fun.
bought this for my granddaughter and she loved it for her 12th birthday to play with her friends.
My daughter and her friends have spent hours playing this game.
I love playing games with the kids. This one is easy and fun to play. It brings back alot of memories of me and my friends playing mystery date. I would recommend this to anyone with younger girls ages 7=12........themommie

Ordered for my 11 year old daughter. Same game I played as a 'tween, updated for this generation of HSM fanatics. Overall a fun, positive purchase. She has played it many times (even with her 20-something brother) and likes it. This generation is not used to slow-paced games, so the time it took to complete (up to an hour) was sometimes not what they expected.
Grant it, it's been 35 years or so since I got my "Mystery Date" game from Santa, but the quality of this product was not good. After carefully assembling the door, a key piece that makes the doorknob work was not sized corrrectly so the handle keeps coming off...not fun for a 5 year old who can't wait to open the door.
