In the tradition of The Blair Witch Project and Faces of Death, this German film distributed by Troma aims to leave viewers wondering if the horror onscreen is real or simply make-believe. The action revolves around a pair of documentary filmmakers who seek out suicidal people willing to have their demise captured on film. Presented in full-screen with English and German subtitles, Suicide comes to DVD with an absolutely jam-packed package. Along with an introduction by Troma's Lloyd Kaufman and commentary by Mike Neun of Germany's Weekend of Fear Film Festival, the disc includes three deleted scenes, an interactive tour of the Troma studios, three music videos, two filmmaking featurettes, and several trailers for other Troma films. This DVD features the R-rated version. An unrated director's cut edition is also available with the same supplemental materials.
