So hard to visualize how something will look on a lamp with just a picture to go by, but took a chance on this shade. It is sturdy, well constructed, made of quality material, and am very satisfied with this product. Looks good on the lamp. Don't know if it is grandchild proof though!
I'm disappointed because the lamp I received had a scalloped bottom, not rounded as pictured. Also, the 14" refers to the width of the bottom of the shade, not the length. Needless to say, it is too short. I am returning it tomorrow.
As others have said, this lamp is NOT a straight edged shade. Our shade had a scalloped edge. Walmart should correct the online picture! It is a good quality shade, just did not match my lamp well, so I had to return it.
Just as another reviewer indicated, the lamp shade arrived with a scallop bottom...NOT flat as pictured. I looked at 3 different wal-mart stores before ordering online to match a lamp shade I had already purchased at walmart. Disappointing that the item delivered was not the item pictured.
