I am a long distance runner and needed a treadmill that was in my budget but would compare to those I use at the gym, this is the treadmill. It has a comfort cushion belt area to run on that takes the pressure off your back, knees, and feet, it is as quiet as you are going to get for a treadmill, the only noise is the belt moving!!, it is not flimbsy, it don't rattle, or shake when you run on it, it has a nice wide area for range of motion while running, no bars in the way of your arms, the main mother board compares to those at my gym but with extra plus options such as Ifit and Ipad compatibility, it is a big and heavy duty treadmill. I would so recommend this to anyone at my gym who runs. Putting it together does take time but it is not that hard, it is actually common sense if you are familiar with how they look and run. If you are looking for a first treadmill for walking, this maybe a bit much for a beginner but I still recommend it if you plan on having this as a long term goal. Most people will chose something cheaper and smaller to begin with. The picture really don't do no justice for this treadmill, it is much better if you see it in person. I promise you wont be disappointed.
We bought this treadmill using site to store. The box came in excellent condition. The treadmill took a couple of hours to put together but seems very sturdy. Has a nice wide and long track and appears good for running. The display is very nice and gives a lot of info such as measuring your vertical incline in feet. Very happy with this purchase!!
The instructions were easy to follow. It was very easy to put together, as long as you followed the directions. All the parts and screws, nuts and bolts were labeled, so you couldn't make a mistake assembling the unit. This treadmill is quiet, study and has a nice screen in front of you, giving you all the pertinent info as you are using this HR55t treadmill. And, now that it is together, I am enjoying it a lot. By the way, it is very heavy, so you will definitely need help to move it to it's final location.
The machine is incredibly heavy. The free delivery states that the box will be delivered to the first available covered area. It was not brought into my house, and I could not bring it in myself. Make sure you have help when the machine is delivered. Assembly was pretty straightforward. It helps to have a partner, but could be done alone. Again, it's very heavy. The foot rests were broken off the machine when it arrived. I have asked for replacement parts. The treadmill still functions but is an an incline until the foot rests arrive. The display worked well. I suspect the heart rate monitor is not accurate. It said my heart rate was 85 when walking at 3mph at an incline. 85 is more like a resting heart rate. It was a little noisy, but not terribly so. I was able to hear the TV while walking on the machine once I turned up the volume. Length is very good. All features seem to be functioning. I can fold the machine up, but it's really heavy. Even when folded, the machine takes up a lot of space. But, folding and unfolding is very easy. Overall, like it, but hope to get my replacement parts soon.
The only problem with this treadmill is, it was suppose to of had a fan on it. And it didn't. Unless i was reading the details for another one. Overall, i have no complaints about how it works or the delivery process. It was all good!
Decent motor and belt, lots of flimsy plastic including the rear support feet. Several pieces were broken upon opening box. It'll do for a casual walk but I wouldn't recommend it for jogging.
Heart rate monitor is a joke, very inaccurate. Walking belt surges when walking, even after loosening belt as directions stated to correct surging problems. While walking slow at the highest incline you can walk faster than the motor is going. ( trips you up ) On a better note the first one I received was damaged, and Sams club took care of it promptly
Arrived damaged from Estes Freight
I highly recommend you do not buy this unit or anything from this manufacturer. It came broken to me and all they wanted to do was replace parts and it was never right. I had one problem after another since buying it only a month prior. It was a lemon and I did not like the attitude of the manufacturer. Finally, after a tech came out a few times and replaced parts and just seemed to get worse, I contacted Sams.com and explained and they are scheduling to have it picked up and a refund. Sams was great, the manufacturer was not.
