My wife is six feet tall and has problems with flimsy short handled luggage carts that bang into her heels. Solid alluminum base, large heavy duty caster wheels and a tall handle make this the cart of choice for average and taller users.
Once I got past the confusing instructions to "squeeze the handle and the bar below it to extend the handle" and just slid the handle up and locked it in the upper position I was set to go. The spring holding the platform in place took pretty hard pressure to open and get the wheels out, but once in place it provided a rugged cart that could handle a heavy load. The big wheels are great if you have to roll things on surfaces that are not tile smooth and bump free. I intend to use this for hauling a five gallon bucket of soaked laundry down to the laundry room at our clubhouse instead of almost pulling my shoulder out of joint in carrying it. We have already used it to haul a box of nine 2 liter bottles of soda and three big bottles of splash for punch down to the clubhouse and it handled it without a problem and no strain to our backs.
The cart is incredibly well built and at a great price. We used it to carry a folding table and 2 folding chairs to the 2014 Diner in White party in Manhattan. This meant bringing it through dense crowds, in and out of train and subway cars, up and down long flights of stairs and along a portion of cobble stone streets. With just two bungie cords everything held together and nothing ever shifted or become undone. Just imagine what it could do for normal transportation needs!
very light and unobtrusive when folded up and carried at least 50lbs more than its rated for, easily. large rubber wheels made getting over curbs easy. i do recommend ratchet straps to more securely hold weighty or large items
I have purchased several of these and I decided to get one a little more expensive but not too expensive and I am glad I did. It is so much better than the lower priced ones. I use it for by emergency back pack. I realized it is too big for me to put on my back so this makes it so I can take it with me easily. I can also use it for luggage when we travel but I just keep it attached to my emergency back pack so it will be ready to roll if needed. The other ones don't roll as easy and don't feel as sturdy. It was stiff when opening it up. I was afraid I would break it but I read the instructions and just applied more force than I expected to use to pull the resting plate down. I opened the wheels at the same time to help out a little. I don't know if it gets easier or not because I leave it down. I will replace my other ones with one like this. It is worth the little extra money!!!!
I'm very pleased with my heavy duty folding luggage cart. It's sturdy and well built, and will be a great help in moving items from one place to another.
I was impressed with the over all quality. 32.94 and I see no reason it would not last forever. two large suitcases were easily handled. The cart can be folded up and stored in the suitcase it was carrying.
This cart worked very well for stacking multiple pieces of luggage and carrying them thru the train station. I am very glad I bought this and will definitely use it again.
A little hard to fold down platform, but just a little lithium grease cured that. Great deal really underpriced for what you get. I highly recommend this product and have already showed to family members.
the car is heavy built the only reason I rated it like I did was because the handle does not lock up by it self it has a plastic catch that you have to snap in place kind of cheeses for this quality cart. I have had cheaper ONE THAT THE HANDLE LOCK IN PLACE.
