Toasted two sour dough bread slices.. Spread one slice with spicy mustard, then did a layer of sauerkraut, pickled relish,. I then sliced my heated knockwurst in half and layered onto the other ingredients. Topped with the other slice of toasted bread. Thank you for your delicious product..
I'm from New York CITY.....I was raiseed on Hebrerw National Products. Beef Knockwurst...Jumbos and Regular DOGS...Can't seem to find the Beef Knockwurst.....Yoiu CANT Go Wrong...
I like your products, but I have a question . After buying your excellent knockwurst, I noticed that it is smaller....more .like a hot dog. Did you change the size?
These are the perfect knockwurst for a sailor sandwich. They are plump enough to slice longways & give that excellent chars when you grill them. If you don't know what a sailor sandwich is, loo it up & thank me later!
I can't recommend the low-fat hot dogs but as I eat lots of fat on purpose I can recommend these. The balance of spices isn't perfect but it's very good.
My husband and I tried the knockwursts on a whim (we usually buy the all beef franks), and they are just another notch above. SO. SO. GOOD!!! What a treat! I will be buying these wonderful franks again! Hebrew National are the only hot dogs I'll ever eat again!
These are the absolute best. They remind me of the hot dogs we used to get when we were kids. Back in the 60's when they made food the right way. Unfortunately none of our local stores carry the knockwurst anymore so my husband ordered some online. Took a long time to get here and was very expensive. I wish they would bring the Hebrew National Knockwurst back to our stores!
I have no idea where I first found this product or how. However, I can no longer eat any other hot dog on a bun. Ketchup, spicy brown mustard sauce and sauerkraut (Vlasic) on a hot dog or a subway bun and I'm in heaven.
Amazing flavor, perfect thick size, and good texture. I've eaten these for years but sadly stores in my area have stopped carrying them in favor of a broader selection of taste-free "hot dogs" and "franks", likely because consumers don't know what a knockwurst is and HN minimal marketing doesn't tell them "TASTE!"
I had a long hiatus from eating any type of hot dog, but I finally gave in and tried your knockwurst, which used to be one of my favorites. The difference from years past was dramatic, and not at all favorable. Dried out and overly salty. Very disappointing.
