1.3 mil, much stronger than most bags. Don't break when the trash pickup guys throw them around.
These bags are very strong. I've been using them for a couple of years now and I have never had one rip open. They are easy to get off roll and they tie easily when full. They are very convenient. I will keep buying them as needed.
SUPER STRONG and GREAT PRICE at WALMART!!! Almost seems they really are made of STEEL! Far better than the Lawn and Leaf 1.1ml bags. The extra .2ml makes an incredible difference in strength. These do not break when you over stuff them.
these bags are big hold heavy loads. been using for one year now. recommend///

In shopping around for 39 gallon tough trash bags that have 1.3 mil thickness in a 30 count box, the Hefty SteelSak sold at Walmart is, literally, a steal at $9.97 purchased on-line for pickup in the store. I highly recommend this item from Wal-Mart!
These bags are a great fit for my garbage can and are heavy duty, great value as well.
These are 39 Gallon bags, which is much better than the usual Large 33 Gallon bags. If your garbage can is full to the top the usual 33 Gallon liners are hard to close up. That's why I converted to these larger 39 Gallon bags. These 39 Gallon bags are a little more expensive that a cheaper brand and the smaller 33 Gallon bags, but they're worth it. I recommend these bags if you need a high quality very large garbage can liner.
I have used Hefty SteelSak 39 Gallon trash bags for a year now for overall household trash. It's the best trash bag I ever used. It's very strong and holds a lot of material. Also, it has a nice smell when you first open a bag. I was not able to find this trash bag in my local Walmart store and hope they will continue to stock it. I order 7 of them that's how much I like them.
