I bought the pink version of this straightener from walgreens for $98.00 and have owned it for 4 years now, and it looks like new, and works almost like new, it is starting to not get as hot... But I love the straightener... I went to cosmetology school and worked in a salon and this is by far just as good as a chi!
This product is great! You may not be able to do all those curls and twists like with some flat irons but its very good, i especially love how it lights up, very good product. Its reliable unlike some flat irons and its deffinately better than the CHI :D
ive had mine for about 7 or 8 months now, and i noticed the other day that the ceramic plate had already worn so much that there were basically chunks of ceramic missing
This straightener pulls hair really bad and my mom always yells at me because it pulls like 50 of my hairs out and they land in the sink, it was good when I first got it and now the paint is chipping and the plates are very flimsy and when you close it, it doesnt have a very good clamp and the plates dont line up when you close it, you have to be careful using it because it gets very hot and you can easily turn the controls without knowing it when you are straightening your hair. I havent been using this product for a long time and it gave my hair a lot of split ends and leaves your hair dull looking. And one more thing, now when I turn on the unit it goes, "EEEEEEEEEE" for a couple of second. please dont waste your money its definetly not worth it.
