Very pretty color, amazing price and a little guess a long way. I'm super pleased with it and have more purchased several colors.
I've heard of chalk paint but I've never used it personally before. I'm always doing something to my home to make it better and try and restore furniture and all that stuff. So I received the slate colored chalk paint and was really impressed with just how easy it went on. I used it for my kitchen chairs and it went on so easily and thick that I didn't need a second coat for what I was doing. I was really impressed with how fast it dried and the matte finish just looked professionally done. I can't believe I've never used this before but I'm definitely going to now. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this product. Recommended!
One of my passions in life is painting and another one is crafting. Being that those are two of my passions I have used a lot of different paints from all different brands and have a list of things that I look for in paint, this one has instantly made its way on my favorites list. From the time I first dipped my brush in I was impressed because the texture was smooth but had a thicker consistency than a lot of the paints that I had tried. Once I smeared it on the color was so rich and vibrant, it took to any surface that I applied it to. One coat gave me more coverage than most paints do with two or three coatings. When I read the name of the color, I was curious as to what it would be like if it would be more maroon but it is the perfect red for most things that you could think of, a good holiday red, apple red, barn red, flag red, if you need to paint anything red you can't go wrong with this shade or this paint for that matter.
I love this chalkboard paint, it's easy to work with, dries super fast,no odor, super fast clean up with soap and water ,I love this teal color and love the fast dry and super quick clean up! I only use paint for small craft projects ,I usually just use my fingers instead of a brush and really liked how easy and smooth this project paint is. Will look for other colors
This paint goes on beautifully, and is the perfect thickness. Super easy to craft with! It is a gorgeous color and paints smooth, you can build up the color with layers, or leave 1-2 layers for a more shabby chic look. I love this paint and can not wait to try other colors!
This Hello Hobby Chalk paint goes on shiny but definitely dries to a matte finish. It is a good amount for a small painting project. Stirring to mix it is recommended, but for me, it didn't need much stirring, just ready to go! I had a glass bottle that I wanted to paint (as seen in the pictures) and it went on easily. The top screws back on so it won't dry out.
I like this paint. I've used it before l, it works well and goes on smooth. I like having all sorts of craft stuff for my kids and I. It works on wood, metal, plastic etc. Washes off fine with soap and water. I took a side by side of the paint by a water bottle.
This paint covers very well and goes on reasonably smooth. It's my first experience with chalkboard paint and it seems to be a little thicker than most paint so obviously it takes a little longer to dry. That being said the coverage is very very good and my son is already enjoying the ability to ride on it.
This is the best chalk acrylic paint I have ever tried. Once I had cleaned and sanded the piece of furniture the whole process was a breeze. There is only one thing I didn't like about this paint and it is that I only liked how it looks when using a round brush to apply the paint. When I used the regular flat brush - that I usually use to cover more at once - it didn't look nice to me. It is not because of the brush marks. It is because it makes too strong gaps between brush strokes. It is like lifting the paint again out of the furniture after I just put it on if that makes sense. But if you are looking for a weathered look I would say that you definitely should use a regular flat brush and it will look amazing. As if you have bought the piece of furniture at the store already with the weathered look. I really love this Ruby color. It looks amazing. I am a person that likes more things to look shiny but I didn't mind this opaque look once the piece was finished. The instructions say you have to wait at least 2 hours between coats but in my case, it was dried in 45 minutes. It also says you can use a roller but I didn't try it cause I didn't have one available. Anyway, I would definitely recommend this Hello Hobby chalk ruby color paint.
I would consider myself an expert with chalk paint, as I've painted countless pieces of furniture and all kinds of decorations. I've used multiple brands and all colors across the rainbow. I received this Hello Hobby Ivory chalk paint ti review. I had a vase that I wanted to paint to fit my farmhouse decorations so this came at a perfect time. This is probably my least favorite chalk paint I've used. I know light colors take usually 2-3 coats however I did 3 coats and it is still streaky looking. Also the paint is peeling in one small spot. I will def stick with my regular chalk paint. Sorry :(
