This is the perfect stocking stuffer sized! I used to have to buy a few of these then break the paints up myself as stocking stuffers. The paint takes a long time to dry and goes on super water so you're not exactly painting and moreso just pouring some on and pushing it around the space a little, but it's fun and turns out super pretty! I would actually recommend this more for 8 and up, not 5.
My 6, 9, and 11 year olds all love these we have a door filled with them. Easy to do, comes with the paint and brush needed. Also has the good kind of hanger with the hook. These area nice little projects that my kids can do with little supervision.
The snowflake sun catcher kit is a fun and easy winter craft, great for an ornament or sun catcher. Easy to do and fun for all ages. I will definitely go pick up a few more for my kids to make as gifts.
This hobby plastics Christmas tree is so cute and so much fun! My girls loved it and enjoyed coloring it together. It was a nice activity to have them do together love it!
My grandchild had fun making this suncatcher for me. Comes with paint but no string and does come with brush. I easily attached a string. Very sturdy plastic and easy for a child to paint. Catches the sun rays so beautiful in the day.
This is a neat and compact craft to do with a child. My 5 year old loved painting this snowflake ornament craft with me. The paints are runny so you need to let a layer of it dry. It is not thick so you'll need several layers to make it opaque. It comes with 3 paint colors and a brush and an ornament.
This Christmas tree sun catcher is perfect for any kid. I got it for my son but after seeing how cute and complete this set was, I went to the site and bought one for each of my kids in my first grade class. The colors are pretty and the kit is nice.
I love this little Christmas tree suncatcher, we decided to use it as a Christmas ornament. The whole crafy with everything you need is included in the package. It made it easy to just open the package and get started. Mu three year old loved painting her own tree and the little brush was the perfect size. The shape outlines have high edges so it's perfect for small kids that have trouble staying in the lines, the edges sort of push them to keep the color inside and not mix with the other parts. It's a cute easy design that would be fun for ages 2-13. Would be a great class craft or stocking stuffer too. It makes a keepsake that can be kept for ages.
My son loves to draw and paint. He was excited to do this for the season. He spent a few minutes painting and deciding how to place the colors. We let dry for about 24 hours. I only wish it had come with a suction cup or something to hang the suncatcher. My son enjoyed and would paint more, maybe even add glitter to the next one for some sparkle!
This is not at all what I was expecting. The snowflake is very small, maybe 3 inches in diameter, o added a photo of a tiny Christmas reeces for size comparison, it does not come with anything to hang out with, it does come with three different paints, a white, a light, blue, and a dark blue, yet I am hard-pressed to actually call these paints. It is more like water colors. The paint is very thin and runny and doesn't actually paint onto the snowflake. I had to literally saturate the brush and put giant globs of paint into the wells and basically flooded it. There is no painting when it comes to this because the paint is so watery that it doesn't even apply you have to flood the wells in the design to get any kind of color. I would not recommend this at all and I will not purchase this.
