I've tried other poles but these are the easiest to use. One heavy bird house never wanted to stay upright but on this pole it is very secure. I have 4 now. Thanks for a great product.
I used the pole to mount a bird house to place in a flower pot along with some flowers. I placed the pot and house on my covered porch. It looks great and is sturdy.
I used the pole kit to mount a butterfly house (a Christmas gift ordered from Gardeners). It is very sturdy and was easy to assemble. I didn't want it to be too high, so didn't use all of the poles. That was a real advantage with this pole.
Loved the universal bracket and the variable length poles; sure beats trying to use conventional pole or square post. While we are still in the grips of winter and haven't used yet, if the finish on the poles lasts and the poles hold the intended butterfly house upright, this will be a good find.
I ended up having to purchase a different bracket to use this pole for my birdhouse which is a bit on the heavy side. I contacted Gardner's Supply and they were great about helping solve this problem such that they gave me a few options. Exceptional customer service - thank you!
This is my second one. Perfect for blue bird houses
Good quality and easy to assemble. However, it should come with a four-way stabilizer base that can be inserted into the ground. I ordered one from another company, as I've had this problem before. Without the stabilizer the pole is NOT stable, no matter how far you put it in the ground.
I ordered this pole kit to be used w our recent purchase of the Butterfly house. Unfortunately the pole had 2 cracks in it . The great thing was when I called to tell them about it, they were extremely apologetic and sent out a new one that same day!! I would certainly buy from them again for the Customer Service alone . In this day and age that's hard to come by. I can't wait to get the Butterfly house up.
The holes in the plate did not match the holes in bottom of bird house. This was the pole that was recommended for this bird house but still required that I drill new holes in bottom of bird house in order for this to work. This pole comes in sections and is extremely shaky.
This pole kit seems to be well made; however, there is no three prong support to keep it stable in the ground. I pounded the lowest portion into the ground over half way but it looks as though it is leaning already. If a bird nests in the bird house I mounted on the pole, I hope it stays up long enough for the baby birds to grow up.
