Wrote a review earlier but took more pics now. 4 years later and I cannot find anything better, even with wear and tear and being held together with a zip tie
Comfortable and roomy but supportive and sturdy. Kicked countless tires and semi steps, scraped with entryway boot scrubber at home. I walk about 8000 steps as a local driver m-f. Composite toe roomy enough to keep my toes safe and not irritated. About as breathable as it gets for actual work boots I guess, just enough to let water in if you get in a deep enough puddle.
Nice boot, pretty comfortable with a tight fit. All other boots I wear are size 9 these are 9.5 and tight and feet tend to sweat alot in these. Not sure about durability had them 1 month. Specifically bought to go through metal detector without alarming and they do not alarm.
These are so comfortable. My husband was spending $200 twice a year for work boots until we found these. These are more affordable and way more comfortable.
My hubby swears by these shoes. When are you bringing them back Walmart?? These have been out of stock and price slashed… I hope these aren't going out forever…. It's going to be hard to find another kind like these… bring them back!!!!
Seems well crafted. Only worn them once, but going through the muck and mud in the country, and walking through a ton of debris and tall weeds, they seem as if they will last a long time. I needed a boot that will get me through working outdoors this winter. Very comfortable. They didn't have 11.5” so bought a 12” which I thought would be too big. I'm an exact 11.5” so this was great that they fit so well. The only complaint that I have is that they are very heavy, but I guess that will take some getting used to.
I buy a new pair of these every 4-6 months as they fall apart. Problem is, they're the most comfortable boots I've owned and I've owned them all: Redwind, LL Bean, Sketchers, Ariat, etc. They are truly a love/hate product. They split on the top toe seem as seen in other photos. I'll add some of mine. Hope this helps.
I bought a pair of these boots for work less then a year ago. They were very comfortable and the price was okay. they looked to be made well, but after less then a year the whole side of one has torn open at the toe and the other is on its way to the same fate. After only getting that amount of use out of them. I don't think i would buy another pair.
I loved the look of these boots and really wished they would have fit. I have worn a 10.5 in everything for 40 years so I ordered these in 10.5 and my toes were jammed into the front of the boot, ordered another pair in 11 and they were the exact same size as the 10.5. In addition to this the composite toe sticks down so far it would rake my toes raw in about an hour. They looked pretty well made but who knows they were made in China.
Materials don't hold up. After a year of domestic gardening, this pair of ‘ ‘Survivors' aren't salvageable or repairable. My biggest gripe - unlike Redwings I owned/wore/re-soled for over 15 years - is investing in a product designed to be destructive/damaging to landfill. Waterproof? NOT! More like pass-through sieve.
