The house didn't stick together - so we used hot glue. I expected a better flavor on the cookie. Otherwise very cute and the grandkids had fun decorating.
First of all, one of the pieces of the house came broken which made it very difficult to assemble. Also, it was not easy at all to do. They make it sound like its so easy but it is not. Overall though, a fun project with the family.
Needs better packaging cause more than half my houses I bought were broken once opened. It was hard to assemble
The whole design and candy decoration is decent for an easy to build house. Except that the frosting does a terrible job at keeping the house together! I've let this thing dry for a whole night and the next day I picked it up and it just fell apart. Good design but poor choice in frosting.
Ordered 3 for my children to build when opened all three gingerbread house cookies were broken inside making building the house impossible and we attempted to mend some of the pieces with the frosting but it wouldnt harden ever to hold anything together. Very disappointed all thrown in garbage waste of money
There were broken pieces of the house in the package. Hershey didn't include a decorator bag or tips - just drippy, watery cupcake frosting in a plastic bag. Hershey didn't include the Royal Icing that is necessary to hold this type of house together, nor was it sufficient for decorating... the provided icing just dripped and would not set up, nor was it strong enough to hold house together. The roof pieces slid off 3 times and then the walls fell down too, before finally trashing it. Very disappointing! Followed directions exactly. Shame on Hershey for cheaping out and not including the necessary royal icing & decorating icing bag & tips. This item is a complete waste of money. Did not even last 15 minutes before falling apart. Tried to reassemble it 3 times before trashing the entire thing!
I tried making it and the icing is so bad it just fell apart. I tried a few times and even tried holding it in front of my fan. I kept trying to make it stay together and I just end up using g the entire bag of icing to decorate and build the house
The walls were cracked in several pieces. There's very little candy to decorate with.
This has got to be one of the worst things to try to put together. Pieces are curved and bent. They break into multiple pieces when trying to break pieces apart. They don't fit and the instructions and assembly instructions are woefully inadequate Don't waste your money. Awful product.
Arrived broken and tasted like mint toothpaste, my son hurt his teeth on some of the candy as they were like rocks and didnt soften when he sucked on them like Ive taught him. He got 2-3 mini Hershey bars and 8 Hershey kisses out of this mess and wasted money.
