My kid loved this! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the bots and remotes are very hard to pair properly. We usually end up with two bots being operated with one remote.
Doesn't seem to be particularly sturdy! Different parts come off very easily
The remotes don't work and are really finicky. Bought for my sons 8 birthday and would be super cool if they worked but I'm left with a disappointed child as they only worked for a minute or two
Manufacturing on the hex bugs sub par. The arena does not fit together properly and the wiring in the bots was not completed, one did not work out of the box.
One of the robots stopped spinning after second use. Not worth the money
